Machettö In Pietra ligure

01/03/2026: A wonderful surprise. Better than other restaurants I've tried in the Siena province.

09/02/2026: The atmosphere is somewhere between rustic and intimate. The cuisine is traditional, but not overly so; there are also some dishes that aren't traditionally Tuscan. Personally, I would have preferred a little more Tuscan and less of anything else, but that's just my personal preference. Overall, the food was good: the ravioli—I don't remember the specific name—were delicious, with a ricotta and vegetable filling that I couldn't identify, and a good ragù. The mixed grill was plentiful, though not particularly outstanding. The complimentary bruschetta as an appetizer was appreciated, especially the ones with caramelized onions. The service was friendly and fast.
