A truly special grill restaurant in the heart of Valenzano. The place is small, but for that very reason, incredibly welcoming: the atmosphere is familiar and authentic. The owner is a wonderful person, always kind and attentive to customers, and you can immediately sense that this is a family-run business run with passion. The meat is simply excellent, and the bombette are among the best I've ever eaten in Puglia. Every time I'm in Bari for work with colleagues, it's become an almost mandatory stop for us. Highly recommended!

Ristorante Pizzeria Braceria "Al Raffaello"

22/03/2026: Our second visit in Bari and to this restaurant in 18 months and the quality remains outstanding. We tried the octopus salad, the orecchiette con rapa, paccheri with seafood, and a rich zuppa di pesce with whole shrimp and mussels. Each dish full of authentic Puglian flavour. The Neapolitan-style pizzas have been super delicious, even in the gluten-free version. They are AIC-certified (The Italian Celiac Association), with nearly the entire menu available gluten-free as well, including a delicious pistachio cheesecake. A must-visit in Bari.
18/03/2026: We visited this restaurant last Saturday with some friends who had been there several times before. We were very pleased with the food, the courtesy, and the speed of the service. Good value, we'll definitely be back.

05/03/2026: After its recent image makeover, the grill restaurant hasn't lost its strengths: the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the meat above all. New dishes have been added to the offering, and the slightly higher-than-average price is justified by knowing what you're eating. "Grills and hugs"—a slogan that lives up to its name!
