Macaja Bar In

Nice place, I'd been there before for an aperitivo and it was great. Very friendly and charming, it reminds me of a fishmonger's. They recommended the octopus sandwich as large and succulent for €10,000, but I got a sort of Milanese michetta bread with some good octopus, but it was all very minimal. Even the person who took me there was disappointed... the sandwich was small and a bit bland in my opinion. For €10,000, I was expecting something that would fill my stomach and my heart, but it seems Levanto has become a VIP destination given the dramatic price increases in recent years, but that's another story... I knew the price of the sandwich before ordering it, and that's fine. The fries were limp and soaked in oil, which I never would have expected considering the place bills itself as a gourmet restaurant or at least a high-end street food joint. I think it's a place that's better for wealthy foreigners than for our middle class. That said, maybe I'll go back, but I certainly won't have the octopus sandwich again.

A pleasant place to eat, with classic dishes and local specialties like anchovies. Excellent waitresses and a friendly atmosphere.

Wonderful food, hubby was keen to try the fish and LOVED the anchovies four way plate. Everyone else was very happy with their meal too. Great service.

Vinimos a desayunar. Tuvimos un buen café y croissants y el mejor brindis que he tenido! Así que a la mantequilla y a mí nos encanta que pongan prosciutto crudo y no jamón en tostadas. También muy amable personal!

Excellent food especially the pesto, helpful and friendly staff. The only flaw is that the room is a little too small.
