Mac LIR In Torre del greco

I had been missing for 5 years (I moved). I return and find the MacLir, if possible, even better than when I left it. If you add to a very kind, jovial and professional staff a delicious cuisine (the wild boar burger is highly recommended) and you finish with a selection of beers for connoisseurs... Get the Mac Lir. As far as I'm concerned, the best pub in Torre del Greco and surrounding areas.

Mancavo da 5 anni (mi sono trasferito). Torno e trovo il MacLir, se possibile, ancora migliore di quando lo avevo lasciato. Se ad uno staff gentilissimo, gioviale e professionale ci aggiungi una cucina buonissima (straconsigliato l'hamburger di cinghiale) e finisci con una selezione di birre da intenditori... Ottieni il Mac Lir. Per quanto mi riguarda il miglior pub di Torre del Greco e dintorni.

We went to this Irish pub and were pleasantly surprised. The environment is very nice, characteristic, with the counter at the entrance, a lot of wood and various related paintings. The staff was super friendly, helpful and nice; It certainly gives that extra edge to the place. We ordered 2 appetizers: Mexican beans and breaded chicken pieces. The Mexican beans SUPER RECOMMENDED, delicious, impossible not to fall for, they are absolutely worth trying as well as the best thing we ate; very good chicken, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not dry at all. Followed by 2 sandwiches, the first with hamburger, cheddar, bacon and chips and the second with chicken cutlet and chips, both very good and rich. The cheddar had a very strong flavor and the hamburger slightly rare, all good. We also had the choice of 2 types of sandwiches and the staff was kind enough to bring us more bread to finish the Mexican beans. The only flaw as far as I'm concerned, are the very uncomfortable chairs, and the bun is a little too crunchy for my taste... We will definitely return, we had a great time; ADVISED!!

Quiet place, excellent service, even if with some small flaws, the waiter was very friendly and nice. The food was good, shame about the quality of the sandwich (the ciabbatta), which in my opinion was not ideal for a pub.

Nice place. There is no private parking, but it is very easy to find it nearby on the street. The quality standard has remained good and unchanged over the years.

Partiamo dal prezzo come sempre... 37,50 dopo che ho fatto rettificare il prezzo di un panino. Prima cosa negativa mi dai un tavolino in un angolino con il locali semivuoto. Prendiamo una parmigiana come antipasto (buona ma portata fredda) Piatto hamburger con contorno di melanzane a funghetto abbondante, carne buona le melanzane insipide. Panino abbondante con polpette, provola e contorno che doveva essere compreso nel prezzo ma al momento del conto mi trovo ben 4 euro in più ?!?!?!? Perché? Il contorno che nel menu è compreso poi all'improvviso me lo trovo a parte a 4 euro in più. Chiedo spiegazioni e mi tolgono 2 euro quasi per evitare discussioni! Finale non mi vedrete più e non lo consiglio!

We ordered two sandwiches. One with the burn and the other with traditional bread. They were well made and the foods used are of excellent quality They have a few beers on tap, we tried the dragon strong ale. The place is not very big but overall nice. Friendly staff
