The water is perfect for swimming or just floating and enjoying the view of the rocky Ligurian coast. There’s a small bar/restaurant nearby where you can grab a drink or snack, and the staff are super friendly. It’s a bit rocky, so I’d recommend water shoes if you have sensitive feet, but the water and surroundings more than make up for it. Great place to watch the sunset too! If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic beach spot in Genoa away from the usual tourist crowds, Maa Beach is a fantastic choice.

The menu offers well-prepared and carefully presented fish and meat specialties, with interesting combinations and fresh ingredients. The location is truly a highlight: dining with a sea view makes everything even more enjoyable, especially at sunset. The service is courteous, and the atmosphere is modern, meticulously maintained yet relaxed. Prices are in line with the quality. Recommended for a quiet dinner with a view or a special occasion. Enchanting place from the beach to the sea that almost reminds Portoferraio of the island of Elba... AMAZING lunch break, warm seafood salad and parsley gnocchi with clams, you can taste the fresh fish rigorously searched and selected by the owner. Highly recommended!

The beach itself is nice, not sandy exactly like other reviews say but very fine pebbles ! Good view and reasonable prices (40 for an umbrella + 2 chairs at 4pm). The changing rooms and the toilets were clean and usable. The drinks were okay, and the lady behind the bar was quite pleasant. We didn’t order food but also didn’t notice anyone else having anything to eat , so can’t say anything about it. We got there by car and only reason we ended up going here was cos there was parking on the main road up the hill at that point!

Local, with a wonderful view and a quality of the cycle, Juanito excellent host, as well as his staff always attentive and up to the task
