Luna Rossa Pizzeria Ristorante In Calosso

We had two delicious meals at Pizzeria Ristorante Locanda Luna Rossa. The menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of pizzas and many other (fish) dishes. The wine list is also extensive, with lovely local wines. The house wine is also excellent. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The service is prompt, and the food arrives quickly. There's also an English menu with clear allergy information. The half-meter and meter-long platters of mixed fried fish that regularly appeared were a highlight. The restaurant is clearly appreciated by both locals and tourists.

A charming village restaurant with delicious pizzas and top-quality cheeses. The desserts are highly recommended. The ambiance could be a bit warmer with softer, warmer lighting.

The food and fish were very fresh. A bit too much. We took some home and they gave us a small tray. Maybe we ordered too much for two people!

Dinner for seven of us, and we tried several dishes to share. I found the grilled octopus, mixed antipasto, and seafood pizza tasted bland. They were well presented, but I would have appreciated a little more flavor. The octopus leaked, and I didn't like the vegetables that accompanied it. What I enjoyed most was the mixed fried fish: dry, varied, and plentiful. The idea of serving it by the meter was a nice touch. The staff were very kind and helpful. The bill, yes, was a bit steep.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious pizza, fried fish, and excellent service. I recommend it to everyone.

AMAZING!!! An absolute MUST-DO if you're in Canelli/Calosso!!! The food is DREAM across the board - you'd have to visit a 5-star restaurant in Switzerland to enjoy such a great meal as this! THANK YOU for this amazing experience!!!

The fish was incredibly fresh: lobster, shrimp, and crawfish were impeccably cooked, with balanced flavors and generous portions. The restaurant is welcoming, well-kept, and has a lovely atmosphere. The service is attentive and friendly, always with a smile. An excellent choice for those who love good seafood, even in the hills. We'll definitely be back!

Superbly prepared food and very friendly service. The regional wine is also highly recommended (unfortunately, the wine glasses were a bit dirty). Otherwise, this restaurant has nothing but praise.
