After visiting the archaeological site, we were looking for a place to eat. Luna Caprese pizzeria caught our eye. It's a very simple and basic place, but we had an exceptional pizza.

A very welcome lunch after climbing Vesuvius, (with help from the bus). I recommend Proscutto e mozzarella. Sat outside under the umbrella.

We arrived at this little place after an exciting visit to the Herculaneum archaeological park around 3 pm. We expected a "No, sorry, the kitchen is already closed," but Claudia, with disarming sweetness, welcomed us with, "No, it's not late, at least you're keeping us company!" 💓-said, like the true Neapolitan heart. We immediately felt like family. The food was divine, generous portions, and excellent quality. As it was time to leave, I, not one for affection, let myself go into a warm embrace, saying "See you soon!" 💞

13/01/2026: We had lunch at this trattoria on New Year's Day, and just walking in, we knew we'd have a great time. The staff were incredibly friendly, all the waiters were warmly welcoming, and the place was small and very cozy, yet busy and not noisy. In short, we were impressed at first glance. The menu features traditional Neapolitan cuisine. We tried their ragù, Genovese, and Nerano, and even a potato and provola appetizer was kindly provided by the house! For starters, there was a mixed six-course meal that included parmigiana, meatballs in tomato sauce, and other delicious appetizers. Everything was truly delicious, accompanied by unforgettable bread that we thoroughly mopped up. For dessert, the lemon tart was delicious! We spent €100 for four of us and were thrilled. Outside, there was a never-ending line to get in; it's best to book because it's incredibly popular. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Naples.

15/10/2025: We were traveling in a group of 12 and had made an early reservation. However, when we arrived, our reservation was lost, and we were practically forced to wait on the terrace for half an hour. An apology, or even a compensatory drink... We then ordered two bottles of Prosecco to pass the time. These were simply placed in front of us, unopened, with the glasses. The glasses, etc., of the previous guests were not cleared away. In the end, we waited over an hour for our reserved table... The food, however, can be described as a culinary delight. We were served outstanding dishes. Despite the excellent food, we wouldn't go there again.
