Trattoria Luigin is a small but welcoming restaurant, with a warm atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at ease. The atmosphere, though intimate, is well-maintained and conveys a sense of familiarity, perfect for those seeking an authentic gastronomic experience.
The cuisine is its true strength: excellent Ligurian specialties and delicious dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The flavors are authentic and well-balanced, making each course a pleasure for the palate.
A small drawback is parking, which is scarce nearby, and the restaurant's capacity, which can be a bit tight at peak times. Despite this, Trattoria Luigin remains a recommended stop for those seeking to savor Ligurian cuisine in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere.

Friendly staff who even helped us find parking. Good food, but perhaps a little limited on the menu. Delicious focaccia.

I alternate, depending on the tourist season. Good service, good selection of homemade and local products. Limited parking, good location.

I came last night with my girlfriend and my brother. The service was anxious and oppressive: the pace would be perfect for a work lunch during the day, but not for the evening. Even though the place was half empty, they sat us at a table under the air conditioning set to 17 degrees Celsius, which blasted freezing cold air at us. Upon our feedback, they adjusted the airflow a bit, which didn't solve the problem, but by then we were almost finished with dinner, so... The quality of the food didn't live up to expectations: after the cheese focaccias, which didn't impress us, we ordered the ravioli al tocco, the pesto lasagnette, and the pansoti with walnut sauce, three iconic Genoese dishes. While the pasta was quite good, the sauces seemed like they were store-bought: the meat al tocco tasted like meat, the pesto had almost no garlic and seemed to be made with old basil leaves, and finally, the walnut sauce seemed thinned with too much cream. These flavors may be excellent for tourists, but not for locals.

If I could give 10 stars I would give them hands down. The place is wonderful and simple, rustic, warm, welcoming. The staff is very kind, and as for the food... as a Ligurian I can say that there are few places left where you can eat so well. The fugassette were spectacular, the ravioli au Tuccu were dreamy, cooked as tradition dictates, the walnut sauce that my partner had was jaw-dropping, including the house wine. If we add to this that the cost was below the current average, I think we can say that at Luigin it is possible to have a quality/price ratio that is difficult to replicate. Highly recommended!

Dinner on May 2nd, first time in the new location, it remains a classic of SUPER LOCAL cuisine, read the menu carefully, few things but extraordinarily genuine, few frills in typical dishes of the area! They remain precious witnesses of distant traditions.
