LUG - La Birreria del Pavaglione In Lugo

I've lived in Lugo for a while. I'd never stopped at this place. But I've been back twice in the last 3 days. And I'll be back much more often. The farmer's sausage is fabulous. The puri potatoes (perhaps a little under-seasoned, but that's no problem as I ask for salt). The service is prompt and attentive. The waiters who attended to me were very courteous. The second time, they forgot to add a beer to the bill... and since I had a good experience, I made sure to let them know. I'll be back again. Thank you.

A welcoming atmosphere and good food are the hallmarks of Lug. I've been going there for a long time and it's always a sure thing. Their beers are special and there's a wide selection. Typical Romagna dishes; I recommend the platter and the excellent cappelletti.

Excellent, widespread restaurant, good food... I don't find it hygienic to serve chicken in the pan because cutting it could release metal... but... Above all, I find it unacceptable to use public bathrooms as toilets, which are dirty and have no hand soap.

It was a fantastic place, the staff is nice and speak English, food and drinks are great, the atmosphere is wonderful. They badly need an own toilet though: currently guests are directed to a public restroom in the neighbouring building, and man it was in a disgusting state. Not their fault, but definitely made the whole experience worse.

We discovered this brewery inside the charming Pavaglione in Lugo almost by chance, and it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is welcoming and well-groomed, with a perfect balance between tradition and modernity: the historic portico frames a lively venue, ideal for both an informal dinner and an evening with friends. The menu is well thought out, with dishes that enhance the flavors of the area but with an original touch. Excellent choice of hamburgers, abundant platters and hot dishes that go perfectly with the selection of craft beers, large and well recommended by the staff. Speaking of the staff: friendly, knowledgeable and always smiling. You can feel the passion for good food and the desire to make the guest feel at home. Highly recommended for those looking for quality, atmosphere and an authentic experience in the heart of Lugo. We will definitely be back!

Nice place, outdoors. They served me chicken breast in a pan. And having to cut it in a pan that can release material, is not exactly the best in hygiene. That said, the bill arrived before the food, this too would leave much to the good taste and local ways of doing things, probably. But I also hope for the crowding and the very "young" service. The food was good and well cooked, the bill was a little above the norm for a chicken breast of which there were not even plates to wash. Anyway recommended.

Fast service. Friendly staff. We took the fried food (mozzarelline, chicken nuggets and chips) and a spianata. All very good. Average prices. Outdoor tables.
