Lucignolo In Tropea

Excellent restaurant recommended to us by the TheFork app. Located in a pedestrian area, but quieter than the central area. Exquisite food, with generous portions. I also have to give a big shout-out to the waiters: precise, polite, and always ready to accommodate customers' requests. Keep up the good work.

During my vacation in Calabria, this was one of the places where I ate best. The dishes were very generous and very good, and what I appreciated most was the menu written in dialect with a selection of typical dishes!! In my opinion, this trumps everything, and so far I haven't found another restaurant that does it!!! They should review the service, because, yes, we were served by a really smart guy with short hair and a beard, wearing a white polo shirt with the restaurant's logo. It's a shame he did everything and only him!!!! Even though there were other people working, he was the only one who went around the tables taking orders and bringing food to the tables. They should improve the service (because it's not fair for this poor guy to do everything). When we arrived, he was on the phone giving directions to someone who needed to get to the restaurant for dinner. A girl who works there was sitting next to him, but nothing happened. She just looked at us without letting us sit down or saying anything. This poor guy had to interrupt the conversation to tell this girl to let us sit down. If he's not the owner, I hope they pay him well, and if he is, I hope he finds new staff as soon as possible. Regarding the food, I repeat that it's one of the best restaurants I've tried so far in the Tropea and Lamezia Terme area.

We visited Lucignolo and were thrilled. The portions are generous, and each dish is a true explosion of flavor: you can taste the care and quality. The staff is incredibly kind, always courteous and smiling, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We also really appreciated the flexibility with reservations, a detail that makes all the difference. Finally, the location is truly beautiful, with attention to detail and perfect for an evening with friends. Recommended! P.S.: The only downside: the price is expensive for a dish with very few grilled vegetables.

We ate this pinsa in 2021 and still thinking about it. Tried many others in many different places in Italy and other countries as well, never found the same taste we had in Lucignolo. It was just SO TASTY!!! If I ever go to Tropea again, the first thing I am gonna do is to go there and eat a pinsa again. And service was very helpful and kind too. Just a perfect place.

A restaurant in the center of Tropea, in a quiet and cool area. We dined here and were served by friendly, helpful, and very professional staff. Excellent Calabrian cuisine, including a vegetarian menu. Prices are fair compared to other restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!

Location semplice ma molto accogliente…..personale e proprietario davvero gentili e competenti…..abbiamo cenato con pietanze tipiche calabresi e vi possiamo dire che abbiamo assaporato dei sapori davvero che richiamano i pranzi della nonna…sapori che avevo diciamo dimenticato ..: cosa dire di più ….complimenti….

Cibo tipico calabrese molto buono; camerieri gentili. L'atmosfera è bella perché si mangia all'aperto in una piazza centrale. I prezzi sono tra i più onesti di Tropea.
