L'Ostrica In Siniscola

Very nice place in the Caletta pedestrian area, with somewhat elusive staff. Good fish, especially the fregola pasta!! A bit overpriced, especially the appetizers, which are decidedly expensive compared to the rest of the menu (example: red shrimp tartare €22, 5 shrimp in a carasau crust also €22). And then the bill wasn't even discounted by 40 cents to round out the price... what a shame!!

Seems like a good place, but even with a reservation you wait for at least 30 minutes. We ended up right in front having burgers. Whether you wait or not, depends on your priorities and how hungry you are.

I have to say the dishes were all excellent, both the starters and main courses, and the pizza, all excellent. The desserts didn't thrill me, but they were still good. Service: so-so. Starting with the welcome, despite having a reservation, we had to wait a good 30 minutes for a table. Also, for a group with a shorter wait than ours, they apologized and offered them an aperitif at their table. I hope it was an oversight caused by the busy evening. In the dining room, there were a few inexperienced young people who didn't know where to turn, and the bread never arrived, but we'll excuse it; you know, with seasonal workers, that can happen. Plus, it was a strange evening with power outages. But there was still a young staff member (too bad I don't remember his name) who intervened with class and kindness and kept the situation going. The only strange thing was that with a €340 bill, a round of four local liqueurs for adults was offered. Instead, everything is included in the bill. Anyway, it's a restaurant where you eat very well. (One last positive note: it's perfect for those with intolerances; they have excellent gluten-free options.)

Dinner with friends and kids, very kind and helpful staff...delicious pizzas!!! I had the pizza, but everyone who ordered other dishes, like the fish starters and main courses, said they were excellent. It was really nice that they prioritized the kids' orders. Well done! We arrived here by chance and despite there being a lot of people, they seated us in no time... truly super pizza and super also Simona who served us

I had lunch at this beautiful restaurant with my partner. We had a wonderful meal; the appetizers and fried foods were excellent. I'm celiac, so I had a truly special fried dish! Thank you! I also recommend the gluten-free nougat semifreddo! Outstanding! We'll definitely be back.
