Excellent, high-quality food at a reasonable price. Lunch: one pasta dish, four ombre pasta dishes, 100 grams of creamed cod, and two sandwiches = €34 Excellent

We had an aperitivo, a beer, and a Campari. The cod bruschetta was delicious, but the other sandwiches (egg and onion, egg and tuna, shrimp with salsa rosa and arugula) were subpar. When we got home, we threw up. The bartender (I don't know if he's the owner) was courteous and polite. I came here on vacation, so I don't know what kind of atmosphere the place has, but the clientele around me was shady.

Caffe Dei Frari O Toppo

15/10/2025: We went for a couple of wines in the mid-afternoon. The place is beautiful, very authentic. The staff was perfect, very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great. We had two Proseccos and a Campari and paid €16, a bit steep, but that's what you'd normally pay in the center of Venice.

Ristorante Alloggio - Antica Dogana

15/09/2025: We visited the restaurant, which is beautifully situated and well-developed on the lagoon. Surprisingly, a reservation wasn't necessary, which we were very pleased about. Occasionally, a ferry docks at the pier right next door. There's a large paid parking lot. A beautiful sunset is a specialty here. Freshly caught fish is relatively expensive at €100 per kg. This also applies to starters and main courses, which are good but nothing exceptional. The service was very friendly but relatively clueless when it came to wine recommendations. Overall, it was good, but the value for money is better at many other restaurants nearby.
