L'OSTEria In

The menu was a bit short but interesting; everything we tried was consistently good. The service was friendly and, above all, fast, which is often hard to find. In about 40 minutes, we each had a three-course dinner. I don't know if the entrees were made to order or pre-cooked, but they were certainly good. Prices were reasonable, even below average. Recommended.

The food was divine! They also take special care of food allergies/intolerances (gluten-free pasta and bread are also available). The restaurant has limited seating, so reservations are recommended. Informal but very pleasant service, a good selection of dishes, and fair prices. The location is also lovely, centrally located but on a quiet street near a scenic overlook. Highly recommended!

Fantastically good food. Menu based on the ingredients of the day. 6 people ordered different dishes and everyone was satisfied.

We had dinner for two on a Saturday evening. The dishes were excellent, from appetizers to desserts. We tried both fish and meat, and everything was very good and high-quality. The wine list also had good options. The prices were fair, even slightly lower than other restaurants in the area. The restaurant is small and intimate, allowing for attentive, fast, and friendly service. Bravo, bravo!

A restaurant offering a limited selection of dishes (often synonymous with quality, for me). Located on a central alleyway, it has a few outdoor tables and a simple, pleasant interior. Truly good food and friendly, attentive service. Among the best value for money.

A marvel. I wish the cooks were my mothers (in addition to mine)! Excellent food, perfect and friendly service. A menu limited to a small selection of delicious dishes (we tried several). Fair prices. It is only out of gratitude that I am posting this review, otherwise I would have liked to keep the place as secret as possible.

L'OSTERIA has been a staple in the city for many years, and the perfect place to eat in Piombino. This small, warm, and welcoming restaurant is located in a secluded alley in the heart of the city, right between the castle and the town hall. The food here is always excellent; the menu changes several times a year and is always authentic, featuring traditional dishes (often revisited) that, unfortunately, are less and less often made at home these days. And then there's Carlo, the host of L'OSTERIA, to welcome you and guide you throughout the evening. He'll arrive with a blackboard listing the daily specials, always smiling, helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly! Excellent value for money! It goes without saying that reservations are absolutely essential, especially during high season and on weekends!

Siamo di Roma,siamo stati a Piombino per il ponte del primo maggio. Il ristorante ci è stato consigliato dalla proprietaria dell’ agriturismo dove soggiornavamo. Posto veramente magico,un vicolo molto intimo e fuori dal caos. Abbiamo mangiato in maniera pazzesca,antipaso,primo e secondo eccezionali! La cosa che ci ha fatto impazzire è stato il menù sulla lavagna che ogni giorno cambia in base alle disponibilità,super bello! Staff super gentile,sia il proprietario che Greta,la ragazza che vi servirà al tavolo. Rapporto qualità/prezzo top, torneremo senz’altro !
