Discovered by chance years ago and on every holiday we go back to savor their delicious dishes. The owner, Maurizio, is an exceptional person, nice and patient. A united staff that puts you at ease and manages to satisfy our every desire. Alternative dishes for celiacs. Wide range of wines and the menu is rich and varied. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

What can we say about this place???wonderful...it left us amazed.Located in a passageway in the town of Tremestieri Etneo, it's impossible not to stop. Place to try for all these reasons: First of all, the welcome of Mr. Maurizio and his wife, commendable, splendid people, very nice and very helpful, who immediately entered the hearts of my children. Location with great attention to detail. From Mr. Maurizio you can admire and taste a huge variety of wines excellent, to accompany their excellent dishes. Tasty and abundant first courses, cooked just right....not to mention the second courses of meat, a cut of scottona, sublime, tender and tasty 😋😋, very good donkey meatballs and also the chicken prepared so meticulously that it was excellent .The final touch.....the icing on the cake were the desserts, a nougat ice cream served on a chocolate basket garnished with almonds, an equally excellent pistachio one and a cake with a soft centre, all delicious and could not be missed an excellent barricaded grappa... the top accompanied by flavored chocolate squares, in short a great dinner, the Oste Maurizio is a guarantee, you have to try it to believe it, finally found a location where everything is top👍👍👍It will certainly be our point of reference if we want to be safe!

Dietro suggerimento di amici, ci siamo recati quasi per caso in questo locale. Ci era stato presentato come ottimo, ma non ci saremmo aspettati invece di trovare un locale più che ottimo. In un angolo di paesino etneo: un locale accogliente, con caratteristico interno in pietra ed un bel giardino fresco. Si cena a base di carne: qualità e freschezza. La cantina di vini è ricca: siciliani e non solo. I piatti sono veramente buoni: fonduta di formaggio, arrosticini nostrani (assolutamente da provare), tagliata freschissima. Vino sapientemente consigliato dall'oste. Grappa invecchiata con cubetti di cioccolata e per concludere gelato "fatto in casa". Rarissima eccezione di gelato dal sapore di passato, un trionfo di mandorle e caramello adagiato in un coppetta di gustoso cioccolato. Poteva già essere una cena il solo dolce. Una grande scoperta questo locale: piatti ricercati, bontà, freschezza. L'oste Maurizio e la sua brigata ti fanno sentire a casa: hanno cura del cliente come se fosse un ospite invitato a cena a casa loro. Una serata piacevole, in un locale grazioso, con ottimo cibo e vino, coccolati da ristoratori come pochi. Il prezzo è assolutamente in linea con la qualità ed il servizio offerto. Ritorneremo presto. Consigliato. Assolutamente consigliato.

In generale il cibo è buono, ma se ordini una fiorentina al sangue e arriva molto cotta si rimane delusi quando, nonostante lo si faccia notare pur mangiandola, la risposta è “la fiorentina non si mangia al sangue! È questa la cottura giusta.” Inoltre, nel conto finale è stata aggiunta una bottiglia di vino in più. Una maggiore attenzione sarebbe stata gradita.
