L'Oste Di Vota Carrozza In Rionero sannitico

One of the best culinary experiences of my life. Simple. If we then add the below-average price given the quality and abundance of the dishes, it's easy to understand why it got 5 stars.

It was a truly wonderful idea to exit the SS17, towards Rionero Sannitico. We found this little osteria that doesn't look like much from the outside, but as soon as you enter, you immediately get a sense of sincere welcome. The wood and brick furnishings also give off a warm feeling that, in winter, makes stopping in even more pleasant. The dishes are well-prepared, and the staff (in my case, just one young man) is extremely kind and helpful. The owner is also a lovely person. I had the tagliatelle with pancetta and truffle. A true delight. I also tried the ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach, and it was one of the few times I've found the puff pastry to be truly cooked properly. For the second course, I recommend the sausage and scamorza. The portion sizes were also more than satisfactory. The quality/price ratio was excellent.

What can I say? You eat well, and at very good prices.
