Los Compas In Ferrara

We went last Saturday, booking 45 minutes before our arrival using The Fork app. The restaurant is part of the Ego Hotel, and has old '80s and '90s touches with Mexican touches, as the restaurant served Mexican food way back in the day. The gentleman at the front desk, who also worked as a waiter, was very kind and helpful. We ordered two tasting menus, which included: Appetizer Two first courses Second course The appetizer consisted of a mix of cured meats and eel meatballs, which was overall decent. The first courses were: - pumpkin-filled tortelli, one with orange flakes and the other with 'nduja - cheese and pepper tortellini The second courses were: - fried meatballs - vegetable tart with potatoes and jam They also offered us a dessert: a margherita tart with apples and Amaro del Capo liqueur for both of us. We also ordered still water, a glass of wine, and two coffees. Total bill €78. Unfortunately, since it was a tasting menu, we didn't get the 20% discount, but that's okay.
