Top-notch and generous crescentine, finally a place where the cured meats don't run out before the rest.
Delicious tortellini in broth and tagliatelle with ragù.
Superb grilled meats, not the usual improbable grills with makeshift, hard-as-marble pieces.
A bottle of Sangiovese, a water, a grappa, a Montenegro.
50 euros each.
Find another place like this in today's "Bologna-San Francisco" world.

Trattoria in Monte San Giovanni, in the hills outside Bologna. It's a traditional restaurant, but well-maintained and simple. Authentic, traditional cuisine at reasonable prices. Everything is delicious. Ample parking.

When we booked they told us that the kitchen closed at 9:00 pm...
We had 2 good tortellini in broth, crescentine tigelle with cold cuts, pickles, pesto.
In my personal opinion the tigelle should be crispier on the outside.
Crescentine well fried not greasy.
Mortadella cut thick, ham without many pretensions you can't smell any aroma and not much fat which I understand some people don't like but ham should be served with fat. The pesto was poor, for three people practically a kitchen spoon in fact we asked for another, the pesto had a very neutral flavor it tasted of nothing.
Paid a relatively in line with other places in Bologna but we weren't in Bologna.

Excellent trattoria, large parking lot, large 90s style rooms. Both for lunch and dinner there is the option of a fixed price menu of €13, with excellent choices, and then an à la carte menu with an excellent quality/price ratio. I recommend it because I ate well and spent the right amount.

Convenient parking. Large room very similar to a hotel dining room. Good welcome with an inviting menu. Excellent balanzoni and the fillet, truly tender and tasty. Good and fast service. Fair bill.
