An extraordinary experience at Locanda San Michele by Gianluca Ricci!
We had the pleasure of having lunch choosing the tasting menu, and I can only define it as a truly immersive and exciting experience.
Each course was the embodiment of perfection, taken care of in the smallest details.
The cuisine is of the highest level: balanced, refined and full of personality dishes. The great craftsmanship and attention behind it is evident, capable of transforming each dish into a small unforgettable masterpiece.
The service was also impeccable, the environment well-kept and welcoming.

We came for dinner and chose the five-course menu: everything was wonderful! The duck meat starter was, without a doubt, one of the best I have ever tasted. Chef Gianluca is extremely nice, as is the girl who served us, very kind and attentive. Everything was flawless. We will definitely be back! A restaurant of the highest level, with extraordinary cuisine. I loved every detail of this experience.

Well-kept place inside but needs improvement on the outside. The staff's welcome was cold, but the chef's was warmer. I would recommend paying more attention to how to bring the bowl for the stones together with the aperitif olives, but these are details! . Cover charge €5 without table linen, on the other hand the welcome with "eggs" and "nuts" is excellent. Relatively long service times but with only two waiters it is acceptable, considering it is May 1st. Good ideas and high-quality preparations from the kitchen. For my tastes, I would limit the use of aromatic herbs such as basil and marjoram which risk covering the flavors of otherwise balanced dishes. Their version of lamb, cheese and ova is far from the original, with rare meat and hints of curry (pecorino and lemon not included if present in the recipe). Excellent ravioli with braised meat but too much marjoram and too much basil for the octopus (excellently cooked). Slightly hard gnocchi but with good seasoning. The venison was good but below my expectations. The cuttlefish cooked well and minimally plated with its black. Cloying two chocolate dessert. At the service the girl is much more attentive than the boy. The bathroom lacked soap. Slightly high prices for the type of experience proposed. Paid only with the advance payment perhaps due to the staff forgetting to ask us for the receipt or invoice but we ignored it. We will return for a different menu and we are sure that they will have improved the aspects that convinced us less.

wow. this was one of our best dinners and restaurants experiences in Italy. everything we ordered was amazing, and so tasty. the service is great very friendly and generous. we definitely recommend you to come.

Se il buon cibo era anticipato dalle ottime recensioni, decisamente mi aspettavo un luogo diverso, grande e pieno di gente. Invece il locale non ha molti coperti e, soprattutto, oggi eravamo solo in quattro… quindi, lontano dalla folla, abbiamo gustato un menù di pesce davvero notevole, dove meritano una menzione i ravioli ripieni di cacio e pepe (light, perfetti) con i gamberi crudi. Ottimo anche il resto, dal pane ai secondi (si veda la seppia alla griglia), fino al caffè. Buona carta dei vini. Un piccolo tesoro nascosto.

Located between the municipalities of Montorio al Vomano and Tossicia, the restaurant has around twenty internal seats and a large garden with a suggestive view of the hills. Chef Gianluca Ricci delights his guests with innovative and tasty dishes. Personally I tasted the following menu: aubergine carpaccio marinated with red turnip mayonnaise with turmeric and peanuts; marinated duck breast with tuna sauce and red fruits; cheese and pepper bundle with red prawn marinated in lime; beef fillet, celeriac, mulled wine reduction and fermented blueberry; fiordilatte ice cream with cocoa crumble, Maldon salt and extra virgin olive oil. Quick and highly professional service, excellent value for money! For anyone who is in the area I recommend this engaging sensory experience, try it to believe it: 5 stars!

Ho cenato in questo locale con mia moglie, trascinati dai consigli di conoscenti tutti entusiasti. Probabilmente il problema è stata la troppa aspettativa che avevamo, fatto sta che non sono rimasto particolarmente colpito.
Il locale è bello e ben curato, anche il personale gentile e competente.
Io ho preso le alici per antipasto e la ricciola arrosto come secondo, piatti buoni ma senza quel tocco in più che ci si aspetta guardando i prezzi.
Mia moglie ha preso il prosciutto d'anatra e un primo (Come un'oliva all'ascolana), stesso discorso, niente di rilevante.
Sicuramente se ci dovessi tornare prenderei il menù degustazione, magari con la speranza di provare qualche sapore più intenso.
Per il momento appena sufficiente.
