There are places where you want to look out like a sunny balcony! Locanda San Michele is this: a treasure chest of refined elegance and warm welcome. Refined foods washed down with delicious "grapes". Gianluca the chef, assisted by an excellent team, Davide Mercolini and by an empathetic and professional dining room staff, (Francesco) is truly...absolutely superlative!!! It's a shame that there are only five stars available!!!

"A MAGICAL EXPERIENCE" During our holiday in Abruzzo they advised us to try the "experience" at Gianluca Ricci's San Michele inn. As soon as we arrived we found ourselves in a magical place, the structure is beautiful, attention to every detail both inside and outside and the staff immediately welcomed us impeccably. Once seated we had the opportunity to meet the chef who welcomed us and presented his work, making this evening even more special. We tried the tasting consisting of 5 courses with the pairing of glasses for each course. In each dish, the choice of local raw materials, the innovation, the combinations, the presentation and the attention to detail have made this dinner a true culinary experience never tried before. Unlike what is commonly thought, we left the table satisfied and full and furthermore the price of the dinner was absolutely fair for the quality of the food and drinks. At the end of the tasting we sat down in the garden on the sofas with an excellent glass of Moscato and once again the chef took some time to pamper us a bit... something truly rare. The San Michele inn is certainly an experience to try whether it is a romantic dinner or an evening with friends. I hope the opportunity to return soon arises.
