Mediocre place, the food is bland and not very tasty, too many chips and bran peppers everywhere, some wines are disproportionately priced and in any case the menu is of low quality, they made us wait half an hour to bring us water after asking for it three times. I don't understand how it can have more than 4 on Google honestly

During a lunch break we stopped at this inn immersed in the countryside just outside the town of Atena. Great cordiality, rustic atmosphere, genuine cuisine, excellently presented dishes. A place that puts you in a good mood.

Abbiamo approfittato di una sosta pranzo per fermarci in questa tradizionale locanda poco fuori l'abitato di Atena. Aria buona, accoglienza familiare, piatti ben presentati, prezzi ottimi. Peccato non avere avuto spazio per assaggiare pure la carne. Interessante e buono il tiramisù con la spolverata di crusco

Serata molto piacevole. Piatti ben curati e cibo di alta qualità. Il tagliere di salumi viene servito su un tagliere che ruota dando la possibilità a tutti di servirsi comodamente. La pizza a mo di pinsa squisita. Consiglio anche di provare un dolce. Personalmente ho provato la torta di mele ed era buonissima. Camerieri simpatici e disponibili. Prezzo adeguato alla location e al cibo. Non vedo l’ora di ritornare per provare altre delizie del menu.

27/06/2025: We had the most amazing experience at this restaurant. Michael Angelo and Pascuale made sure of that. From the different kinds of bread, the olive oil and red sauce, all the dishes we ordered, to the desserts, magnifico! I didn’t know what to order looking at the menu so played it safe and ordered spaghetti. It was the best simple spaghetti I’ve had. Everything was reasonably priced and the view was spectacular. Definitely recommend.
22/06/2025: World Class ! One of the best restaurants in the world hands down ! From the spaghetti and Roma tomatoes , to the outstanding bread selections and than finished with the three peppercorn filet with a sauce that would make a French chef envious this place has it all . Exceptional 5 star service , world class food and the best views in all of Italy ! Bravo !

29/05/2025: Nell'assoluto rispetto della tradizione culinaria campana, in questo piacevole locale abbiamo assaggiato tutta una serie di portate, molto molto piacevoli! Assolutamente da non farsi scappare questa esperienza se ti trovi a Cava!
28/05/2025: Wonderful cuisine....Umberto and his wife, two cooking enthusiasts like few others.....a love for food that is uncommon nowadays.....if you pass by Cava you must have dinner with them... ..ten out of ten also for the price
