Scelto per caso, il ristorante si è rivelato subito più che positivo. Locale curato e ordinato, personale cortese e attento, infine menù stuzzicante. Abbiamo ordinato dagli antipasti ai primi e ai secondi. Tra tutti i piatti assaggiati spiccano le tagliatelle al cinghiale, la pescatrice e il piccione. Una nota di merito anche al tagliere dei salumi, veramente di qualità. Il tutto accompagnato da un buon mezzo litro di barbera. Conto in linea con quello che abbiamo mangiato. Che dire, fortunatamente non ci siamo fermati al ristorante dove avevamo prenotato e che ci aveva riservato un tavolo non in linea con le nostre richieste. A volte non tutti i mali vengono per nuocere… Complimenti alla Locanda di Francisca.

ottimo ristorante ad Omegna sul lago D'Orta servizio e cortesia impeccabili ottimo risotto al castelmagno con nocciole del Piemonte squisito il bonnet prezzo nella media ho trovato solo un po'cari il coperto 3 euro a persona e il caffe' 2,50 x il resto ci siamo trovati benissimo....consigliato

This beautiful place was born in the former college of the nuns of Omegna. I had heard about it for a long time but had never tried it.
We were lucky enough to dine in the main cloister, a true jewel of ancient architecture, which made the dinner much more intimate and relaxing.
Speaking of dinner, the menu has interesting proposals with local products, I focused on lake fish.
The risotto with perch is perhaps one of the best dishes I have had the pleasure of trying in recent times: excellent flavour, rice cooked to perfection and, to give it an extra boost, was the marinated perch carpaccio placed on top of the dish . A true culinary miracle!
The fried lake fish was plentiful and not very greasy: the fish was very good but what drove me crazy were the tempura vegetables, incredible!
To conclude we shared a good platter of cheese from the Ossola valleys, delicious, especially the zola, but I would have preferred a brief presentation from the staff, just to know what I was eating at that moment.
I found the service quite friendly, at times a little cold and not inclined to smile.
Good prices, despite the location and the quality of the products, we found ourselves faced with a lower total than we thought.
I will be back and recommend everyone to try this quaint inn.
