All the food was excellent and top-quality, freshly prepared dishes, fresh fish, friendly staff, free parking, excellent value!

We spent 10 days in the area, and this is where we wanted to return a second time. It's worth EVERYTHING. From the beauty of the garden with its palm trees to the quality of the food. Not to mention the welcoming and friendly staff. They even offered coffee and pasta for my daughter.

Family dinner in August 2025.
The staff was kind but inattentive.
Alicia's maceratese pasta was too marinated in vinegar.
I ordered paccheri, just over a dozen, and three were stuck together.
The fried fish was overcooked, and the baby squid arrived stunted.
The fish skewers were burnt and hidden well on the plate.
Huge potential, but perhaps August was too tiring.

We dined in the palm-lined courtyard: a very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The appetizers included octopus salad and sardines a beccafico. Main courses included busiate alla messinese (with swordfish and fried eggplant) and seafood couscous. All excellent dishes with balanced flavors.
Excellent service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Castelluzzo for three nights, planning to spend our evenings and savor our Sicilian dinners in the more renowned San Vito lo Capo. But on the first evening, somewhat by chance, we were fortunate enough to stumble upon this restaurant, which captivated us from the first moment, so much so that we returned the second evening, and who knows, maybe even the third (which will be tomorrow). Our curiosity to discover the other dishes on the menu outweighed our desire to try different places and flavors. Here, you can sense the love and passion for the restaurant and the raw materials used in every detail. The service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are fair for the quality offered.

The outdoor courtyard has a typically Sicilian feel, with palm trees and jasmine. A good selection of local wineries, and excellent swordfish Palermo-style and risotto mare e monti. We'll gladly return.

We had lunch at Locanda di Castelluzzo and the experience was truly enjoyable. We started with excellent peppered mussels, followed by two excellent fish dishes: truly delicious swordfish Palermo-style and flavorful and beautifully cooked stuffed swordfish rolls.
The owner was extremely kind, friendly, yet discreet, a quality we greatly appreciated. To finish, a perfect Sicilian cannoli and a Sicilian Punico bitter liqueur were the perfect end to the meal.
The price was fair and reasonable for the quality. We highly recommend this place!
