Fantastic place, delicious Italian food, low prices, very nice service. We got a lot of freebies, limonczello, grilled spinach and cabbage, eggplant baguettes, grilled peppers and potatoes. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

It is said to be a family business passed down from generation to generation, and the owner is impressive as he had fun making food with his son and teaching him how to eat it. It wasn't too salty and the seasoning was just right. Fish is good, pasta is good too. There is a large supermarket next door, so it is good for eating and shopping.

One of the best restaurants in Naples. Homemade, healthy and delicious food. It is run by one of the most endearing family who makes you feel like one of them. If one day we return to Naples we will surely repeat here!!!

We were looking for an authentic family restaurant in Naples and found Locanda Del Sole. It is a small family restaurant that has been in business since 1920. From the moment we sat down we were made to feel like family. We ordered a steak and spaghetti carbonara. The meal came with a nice appetizer of mixed vegetables on bruschetta. We drank a nice red wine while we caught glances of Nona moving around the kitchen preparing our meals. If you are looking for fast food go elsewhere. Here everything is made to order and worth the wait. The food fresh and delicious. Nona came out several times to check that we were enjoying our food :-). our meal was followed by baba and limoncello which was the perfect end to a late lunch meal. The next day we came back and had Nona’s gnocchi with ragu and mozzarella it was delicious.
