A small and dignified restaurant, well-maintained, and welcoming: in short, the heart of Mantuan hospitality. There were ten of us, and everyone was delighted. The chickpea and vegetable croquettes as an appetizer were amazing, along with the leek tarts. Mushroom and sausage risotto, carbonara di Carbonara, pici with Montasio cheese slices... Il Pozzo is a gourmet feast, rustic and generous, averaging €30 per person. They've even elevated the French fries to a level of art!

Excellent welcome and a very kind and helpful hostess. Excellent food with generous portions - I recommend the carbonara di carbonara, a real treat! Excellent desserts!

bel locale, contesto tradizionale ma ben rifinito. un venerdì sera a cena, pochi commensali, tranquillo. servizio veloce e gentile. ottimi piatti, tutto buono e genuino. prezzo nella media. buono anche il vino rosso alla spina.

28/08/2025: For my son and his friend's 18th birthday, we chose Forneria Carra, and it was a perfect choice. We ordered two three-chocolate semifreddo cakes, each for about 25 people. The cakes were beautiful and delicious, with generous portions, and were appreciated by all our guests. Thanks also go to the staff, always kind and helpful, who looked after us with professionalism. All at a truly excellent price. Highly recommended!
