Everything was delicious. The cuisine was typically wintery. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pumpkin tortelli were delicious. The place was clean and traditional.

A small and dignified restaurant, well-maintained, and welcoming: in short, the heart of Mantuan hospitality. There were ten of us, and everyone was delighted. The chickpea and vegetable croquettes as an appetizer were amazing, along with the leek tarts. Mushroom and sausage risotto, carbonara di Carbonara, pici with Montasio cheese slices... Il Pozzo is a gourmet feast, rustic and generous, averaging €30 per person. They've even elevated the French fries to a level of art!

Excellent welcome and a very kind and helpful hostess. Excellent food with generous portions - I recommend the carbonara di carbonara, a real treat! Excellent desserts!
