Locanda del Borgo Antico In Magnano

I stayed here while walking the Camino d'Oropa. The bar is very nice and welcoming, the rooms are clean, and the very kind staff went out of their way to prepare me a delicious vegan dinner. Highly recommended.

We stayed for one night en route to Oropa. The staff were helpful and the value for money was better than at other places along the Camino. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the pilgrim's dinner was decent. The rooms were spacious, but a bit dark (dark furnishings, dim artificial lighting). Recommended for those who are completing a leg of the Camino here!

My wife and I stumbled upon Magnano by chance, only to discover it's a popular spot for hikers: great news :-) The welcome was warm, with the waitress quickly taking us to our table (booked through The Fork). Bread and water arrived within minutes. The menu was short, just as we like it: four excellent appetizers, three first courses, and three second courses. Both my wife and I tried the polenta made, as the owner explained, with ancient flour: a delight, with unique and aromatic flavors. My wife had the trout, and I had the wild boar, and we both loved it. Two excellent coffees and a thank you to the chef concluded the visit. Highly recommended.
