Very courteous even just for a sandwich

Lovely place for dinner during Cammino di Oropa. Amazing home-cooked food and very tasty local beer!

Serata deliziosa. Atmosfera rilassata, location molto carina nel centro del paese. Un mix tra rustico e moderno, molto accogliente! Gestione famigliare, discreta e cordiale. Menù vasto, territoriale, genuino. stagionale ed a km zero (notevole la polenta con farina del Mulino di zona). Perfetto lo sfuso rosso della casa: un barbera canavesano di godibilissima beva. Conto per 2 primi, 2 secondi con contorno, un dolce, due caffè , acqua ed un quartino di vino, poco più di 50€. Low price oltre che slow food. Grazie, torneremo presto!

A little disappointing, I asked him for a sandwich with vegetables......they didn't have vegetables, not even a tomato, they made do by putting a giardiniera (good) in the sandwich

Good small but well looked after hotel

You know when you stay somewhere and think, "These people really know how to do their job!" When you feel welcomed and pampered, but without feeling asphyxiated by too much attention, when the details are taken care of but in a homely way enough to make you feel at ease, as if you had always lived in that room, as if you had always had dinner in that cuisine, good but not pretentious, as if your mother had prepared that dinner. I stayed at the Borgo Antico during the Cammino di Oropa and I really recommend it!

We stayed here both to sleep and to have dinner during the Cammino di Oropa. The Borgo Antico inn is what seems like a meeting point for the small village of Magnano and in fact I really appreciated the picturesque clientele with whom it was very pleasant to have a chat. The dinner was excellent: despite the almost total absence of traditional Piedmontese dishes, everything is cooked at home and with love and you can feel it! The pesto on the tagliolini was so good that I would have eaten just that without the pasta! The marinated trout was also very good and passed almost with flying colours. Finally, the Magnano blueberry cake was a worthy conclusion to this very convivial dinner which recharged our energy. The house wine in bulk and the choice of bitters are also excellent. The owners are so kind and helpful, they did everything to make us feel comfortable. Applause also to the smiling waitress! I highly recommend this place, we left a piece of our heart there during our journey.
