Locanda dei Semplici In Maglie

We wanted to book through The Fork, but when we couldn't, we asked the owner if we could get the same discount, which he claimed didn't apply at lunchtime. The prices aren't at all what they advertise on The Fork. Nevertheless, it was really good. The owner is very friendly, and the setting is very pleasant, with a vaulted room playing pleasant music. It's worth the detour.

Excellent seafood pasta, crudi and fritto misto. The locale is very pleasant and service was great.

We had a wonderful evening at La Locanda dei Semplici in Maglie. From the moment we arrived, the owner was attentive and very professional, taking into account the food intolerances of some of us. There were six of us (two grandparents and two couples) and we shared a delicious starter of charcuterie, fish, and fried foods, followed by various main courses: pasta with clams, swordfish, seafood, and meat. All accompanied by a very good bottle of wine, carefully recommended. The setting is charming, peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of summer, perfect for a peaceful family meal. We highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of its dishes, the friendly service, and the attention to detail. A big thank you to the entire team!

Superb food. Simply fantastic. Simple and delicious. Best calamari I have ever had. And everything was memorable . This is what you are after… The owner is an amazing guy, kept our son entertained whilst we ate.

An excellent restaurant. The owner is very welcoming and will tell you about the meals, ingredients, and preparation. It's like being invited into a home. It's great to meet someone so engaged with their restaurant and customers. We had the spaghetti with chicory and black olives; maccheroncini with swordfish, peppers and mint; grilled tuna, and fried squid. Everything was well-prepared and delicious, portions were ample, the meal well-paced, and the restaurant is spacious. Highly recommended.

Locale tipico con struttura a volta, accogliente, servizio molto curato, Abbiamo iniziato con dei crudi: tartare di tonno e gambero rosso di gallipoli (strepitosi!!!) Poi siamo passati agli spaghetti con le vongole, delicati ma saporiti, Infine una frittura di calamari e totatetti della locanda....asciutta ed incredibilmente fresca. Tutto buonissimo Lo consigliamo

La locanda dei simplici est mon coup de coeur de notre séjour dans le Salento.Le lieu est d un charme absolu,les plats sont succulents et généreux et Fabrizio est un hôte exceptionnel qui a un vrai sens de l’accueil ;))))Tellement enchantés que nous y sommes allés 2 fois pendant notre séjour.Merci pour ton talent et ta gentillesse Fabrizio.A bientôt j espère :)))
