We stayed at Hotel Rua Frati 48 for 6 nights as we explored Modena and the nearby cities of Parma and Bologna. The service, especially Andrew at the front desk, was first rate. Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was lovely.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel. We liked the hospitality of the whole team the most, especially Andrea, who brightened up our entire stay. We will be back again with joy.

This was the best hotel stay of my life. The service was perfection—unobtrusive but attentive, and always wonderfully friendly. I felt like the staff quickly recognized the sort of person I was and anticipated my needs. Sitting down outside for a moment, and a cup of cappucino appeared. Any time I left my (delightful) room for a few hours, it was made up. The location right off the Piazza San Francesco D'Assisi is minutes from the historic city core, and surrounded with shops and cafes not more than a few minutes walk away; and yet is quiet and private feeling. On top of everything, breakfast was superb. If I hadn't been walking 15 km a day, I would have put on many pounds. It is one of my dearest wishes to return to Hotel Rua Frati 48, not just to spend more time in Modena, but to spend more time in the hotel.
