Truly a hidden gem of an Italian restaurant in a quiet little hilltop town of Monticelio!
Would highly recommend trying the food here; very tasty Italian for an authentic experience. Each of the dishes is an unique preparation compared to what I had tasted in the past, and all of it was splendid. Very good service and speaking no Italian myself, the staff were very helpful in providing the required suggestions.

This is my second time here, mainly for meat. The selection isn't extensive, but it's high-quality, and what's more, they know how to cook it properly. I eat rare meat, and it never comes out cold or bloody, which in either case means the meat is raw. The cooks are not unprofessional. The service is very pleasant, and I'll definitely be back.

In the village of Montecelio, Bisteccheria Da Pistola immediately strikes you with its original decor, a mix of rustic and modern that makes the place welcoming. The dinner was impeccable: delicious tartare, excellent quality meat, and a truly delicious tiramisu. All accompanied by a wine selected and recommended by the staff. The price was fair and the atmosphere pleasant. Recommended for those who love good meat.

Passing by Montecelio on a Monday evening, I confirmed my friends' recommendations. The food is good and of high quality. It wasn't crowded, considering it was a weekday evening. But the food I ordered was of high quality and, above all, well-served. I promised myself I'd return. My compliments, indeed.

Very beautiful and well-decorated place, fast and accurate service, excellent tartare with hazelnuts and honey, not too big but very well made, excellent first courses as well, generous portions. The tiramisu and pear shortcrust pastry are delicious. Reasonable prices for the quality. Recommended.

A stunning venue in the heart of Montecelio's historic center. I've been following this family of restaurateurs for years, even in their former locations. But what has never changed is the quality of the food, always top-notch on every front. For me, a meat lover, there's always a great selection from the display fridge.
Highly recommended.
