Locanda Cocintum In Monasterace

Traditional cuisine revisited with flair and elegance. We stayed in the area for a week and after having dinner at the Cocintum inn we never changed location again. The appetizers accompanied by jams produced by the company itself are delicious; delicious potato gnocchi with cuttlefish ink; the capocollo is touching (very tender and tasty); without neglecting the fish tempura. The inn is a rustic, welcoming and silent environment. Fast and courteous service. Congratulations to all the staff. We will be back.

Splendid structure located behind the Punta Stilo lighthouse. The menu offers both seafood and land dishes that combine tradition and innovation and reflect the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff is courteous and efficient. Highly recommended.

Ho piacevolmente cenato in questo locale che propone cucina tradizionale rivisitata, genuina che esalta i sapori con delicatezza, senza eccesso di condimenti come a volte capita con la cucina locale. Non dò le 5 stelle perche rispetto ad altri locali dello stesso livello l'ho trovato un pò più caro.

Traditional dishes cooked with some innovation and great attention. Excellent raw materials. Excellent wine. Informal and welcoming but very refined environment. Optimal.

It's the third year we've been back and it's always a pleasure. Environment located in a place with a magical atmosphere. As welcoming as the owner was. Dishes with a unique taste as well as his revisited meatballs, a combination of flavors mixed with wisdom. Everything else was excellent too, we had the tonnarelli and the shepherd's gnocchi, the fish tempura and the dessert! The prickly pear tiramisu and pistachio profiteroles are absolutely worth trying.

E' il terzo anno che ci torniamo ed è sempre un piacere. Ambiente situato in un luogo dall'atmosfera magica. Accogliente come lo è stata la proprietaria. Piatti dal gusto unico così come le sue polpette rivisitate, un connubio di sapori miscelati con sapienza. Ottimo anche tutto il resto abbiamo preso i tonnarelli e gli gnocchi del pastore la tempura di pesce e il dolce! Assolutamente da assaggiare il tiramisù ai fichi d'india e i profitterol al pistacchio.
