Four of us had dinner last night at Locanda Capolago.
We were looking for a place to eat before continuing our journey to Tirano. I must say we were lucky because we found a welcoming atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff.

We had the pleasure of having lunch on Sunday. Alberto and Natalie were very kind and knowledgeable about the food and wine.
Excellent food, we'll definitely be back.

A truly welcoming, beautiful, and well-kept inn. The lady who runs it is extremely kind. We stayed there in early January. The breakfast was also very good, as was the evening service at the restaurant...highly recommended.

We just had a lunch. Bit expensive by the way. Food was very good and very well presented. Desserts are amazing!!! Very good service too. Overall, if you don't mind to spend more than you think, this restaurant really needs to be visited.

A well-deserved 5 stars! An exceptional experience.
Locanda Capolago in Colico is a little gem in the historic center. I stayed and dined there in August 2025: impeccable and welcoming rooms, sublime summer dinner in the garden, and the owner was extremely kind and attentive.

We stayed one night and had a great time. The rooms were tidy and clean.
The staff: I assume we met the owner, and she helped us with everything, from the late check-in due to our work commitments to the checkout on our return.
She was also able to help with breakfast, as we had issues with certain ingredients and lactose. I will definitely return, both to sleep there and to her beloved inn.
