I've been to this inn and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. The restaurant is elegant yet welcoming, an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The dishes are delicious and plentiful, a cuisine that satisfies both the palate and the appetite. Special thanks go to Paola, whose professionalism, kindness, and attentive service ensured impeccable service. She's always available for discussion, attentive to every detail, and ready to make every guest feel welcome. All the other staff were also friendly and helpful, but Paola in particular deserves a special mention. Overall, a very positive experience: a place I'll return to and highly recommend!

I was looking for a restaurant with local dishes and ingredients that wasn't a tourist trap, a restaurant frequented by locals. At Locanda Calieri, we found all of this and more. The sagne ncannulate with seafood and crab sauce is one of those dishes that blends past and present. The frittino misto has the best meatballs I've tasted so far in Salento, not to mention that surprising touch of saffron in the rice balls. The portions are just right, verging on generous, as is traditional in Salento. We ordered two appetizers, a side of grilled vegetables, four first courses, a rosé, two bottles of water, four desserts, and four digestifs, and we spent €40 each. Truly reasonable. I recommend the cod croquettes and the sagne. Ask for the dessert of the day—they're homemade by the chef—and the peach strudel was delicious. It's a very relaxing atmosphere, especially in the summer when dining outside. The background music is a bit '90s. Our experience with the service was truly excellent. Paola and the rest of the staff were extremely attentive and quick. Highly recommended!

My experience in this estate dates back to 2012 where I celebrated my confirmation. The rustic but very welcoming style venue is surrounded by a large garden where you can rest after a meal. I recommend also adding deck chairs on the lawn for customers to use.

The atmosphere recalls that of the 90s: relaxed, authentic, without the frenzy that often characterizes modern restaurants. No pressure to free the table, but rather an invitation to enjoy the moment calmly. The gastronomic proposal includes a pizza with a "vintage" flavor, which evokes the typical preparations of a few decades ago. The spaces are large and versatile, with internal rooms and a large outdoor garden that also houses a small decorative pool, a furnishing element that helps make the environment even more pleasant. The staff proved to be courteous, helpful and attentive, helping to create a convivial and relaxing experience.

Abbiamo festeggiato la laurea di nostro figlio in questo locale e siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti. L'atmosfera è incantevole, la cucina dello chef è un trionfo di sapori presentati con cura, e il personale di sala è stato gentilissimo e professionale, facendoci sentire coccolati. Consigliatissimo per eventi speciali o per una cena di alta qualità. Torneremo sicuramente!
