Locanda Altobelli In Terracina

We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews. The place is small but charming, the service was very friendly and attentive, but I didn't give it five stars because one of my dishes, rabbit, seemed too spicy; along with the vinegar, it overpowered the flavor of the rest of the dish. The buffalo tartare I had as an appetizer, however, was very good. My girlfriend, on the other hand, had a very well-made panzanella and a duck breast, also well-cooked, tender, and flavorful. The bill wasn't cheap, €110 for two appetizers, two main courses, a glass of wine, and a water! A great meat-based alternative to the typical seafood options at Terracina restaurants. I'll have to try the first courses next time to fully evaluate the cuisine and decide whether it's a good alternative.

There is nothing else to give here but 5 stars. Everything was perfect. The food was fantastic. We visited again after a year and the quality was still high.

Such a sweet, cozy place that feels like home! The owner chose our menu for us (we asked him to) and it was incredible! Great place for a traditional Italian meal in an area where everything else is seafood. Not to mention the restaurant was extremely clean, and everyone was so kind. Very impressed!

A gem In Terracina. Carefully selected menu items that are delicious and distinguished and a great wine selection. The two brothers provide a relaxed and flawless service where you feel like part of the family for an evening. The restaurant doesn’t seem like much from the outside but don’t let the appearance fool you. It’s a great place if you’re looking for great food, good wines and relaxed yet professional service

Highly recommend, delicious food, kind and friendly staff. They also have homemade products for celiacs. We had a lovely evening, and will definitely be back :)

I had dinner at this inn a few days ago with friends. We had a wonderful meal, many of the dishes recommended by Joele, the owner, a very friendly and knowledgeable guy, both in food and wine. The dishes were carefully prepared and perfectly presented. Highly recommended.

We came for dinner last week whilst on holiday in Terracina. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. We will come back when we are next on holiday in the area. Lots of lovely things on the menu we would like to try next time!
