Nice place to seek refuge for a week and appreciate the sound of silence. Excellent food, large, very clean rooms. Perhaps the only flaw is some difficulty in reaching it. But I assure you it's worth it

The inn is just outside the town of Ruvo del Monte, on the hill, a stone's throw from the sixteenth-century castle and the ancient convent. The location makes it an ideal place for a weekend of complete relaxation to discover Frederick's places. The restaurant is family-run and offers simple and genuine cuisine, using local products and in particular homemade pasta and lamb. Friendly service.

17/11/2024: We came to this place almost as a last resort. Excellent surprise. Characteristic with an open counter for meats, cured meats and fotmaggi. Attentive and helpful service. I haven't eaten such good and tasty meat in a long time. Puree of broad beans and chard like grandma's, strips with delicious mushrooms, cut a little tough but with superlative meat. The house wine alone deserves a return, not to mention the home-made focaccia. Excellent value for money. Try it
