Excellent discovery. The food was beautifully presented and exquisite, with a taste I'd never imagined. Beautiful, very reasonably priced, for the amount you're served. 100% recommended.

Incredibly delicious, superb ingredients, a very original atmosphere. Dog owners beware, there are several cats around. Due to limited seating, reservations are essential.

Ogni volta che siamo all'Isola d'Elba, non manchiamo di cenare in questo locale. Ciò che riteniamo più importante in un ristorante è la continuità nella qualità e nella modalità di preparazione e "Lo zenzero" non delude mai. Abbiamo preso l'antipasto di mare (1 a coppia), caratterizzato da proposte non banali e abbinamenti più che interessanti, da provare. Consigliatissimi anche le linguine alle alici e gli gnocchi viola e ottima anche la frittura. I dolci squisiti. La padrona di casa è veramente speciale, come estremamente attento anche lo chef, che non manca mai di salutare i commensali. Il prezzo più che corretto. Provate questo locale!

15/09/2025: If you're looking for simplicity, good value, and above all, kindness, then this is the place for you. I found it by chance for a short cycling holiday and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is nestled in a charming inland village, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. The rooms are simply furnished and very clean (if mine had a balcony, it would have been better). Downstairs is the L'Ottavo restaurant, where even on busy days they always found me a table and where I always ate very well! Lastly, the helpfulness and courtesy of Giada and all the staff.

11/11/2025: Impeccable dinner, an experience to remember! We visited this restaurant last night and were truly satisfied. Every dish exuded passion and attention to detail: sincere compliments to the chefs for the quality of the ingredients and the creative presentation, truly thoughtful and original. A round of applause also goes to the wait staff—professional, kind, and always smiling. They made us feel pampered from start to finish, with precise but never intrusive service. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for a special evening. We will definitely be back: a truly worthwhile experience of flavor and hospitality! 👏🍷✨
