I had dinner last night with my partner and her daughter. We were pleasantly surprised by everything, starting with the delicious food. Since we were staying at a campsite just a few dozen meters away, we decided to make a reservation, and it was the perfect choice. The atmosphere is quiet and refined, with prices that match the excellent quality of the dishes served. And for cat lovers, there are three very friendly cats—two brave (Acciuga and Cigolo) and one less so (Silvestro)—who wait patiently by the tables, hoping something will fall. My compliments to the chef and his staff. Definitely recommend to anyone near Lacona. We'll be back next time.

Perfect 😍 but definitely reserve a table! It's a lovely, cozy garden with cats roaming around. The food was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly :)

I recommend this place to everyone, but especially those who like the hobbit style.
Fabulous food, professional, very friendly, and kind staff, especially the generous chef.
Excellent service, but you have to be in a good mood to enjoy the quality.
Very low noise, easy to talk over.

We discovered this restaurant by chance, searching online and reading the various reviews: it was a perfect choice!
The food undoubtedly deserves 5 stars: well-prepared, tasty, and excellent quality dishes. The atmosphere is equally pleasant and welcoming (5 stars), ideal for enjoying a quiet dinner. The service was also good, with friendly and helpful staff (4 stars).
A truly positive experience, highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of dining at this place with its soft, pleasant atmosphere! The quality dishes were delicious and flavorful. We tried the mixed seafood appetizer, excellent and fresh, the gnocchi with crab ragù, the fried seafood, and the linguine with anchovies. Everything was delicious, highly recommended.

A little gem. Tucked away, you'll find a small, beautiful, and unique setting. A very relaxed and wonderful atmosphere, so much so that even the laid-back cats fit in perfectly. The food is perfect and very, very good.
A must-visit if you want to enjoy Elba.

Ogni volta che siamo all'Isola d'Elba, non manchiamo di cenare in questo locale. Ciò che riteniamo più importante in un ristorante è la continuità nella qualità e nella modalità di preparazione e "Lo zenzero" non delude mai. Abbiamo preso l'antipasto di mare (1 a coppia), caratterizzato da proposte non banali e abbinamenti più che interessanti, da provare. Consigliatissimi anche le linguine alle alici e gli gnocchi viola e ottima anche la frittura. I dolci squisiti. La padrona di casa è veramente speciale, come estremamente attento anche lo chef, che non manca mai di salutare i commensali. Il prezzo più che corretto. Provate questo locale!
