A Saturday night with an excellent beer and pinsa at the Lo Sciabbecco pub on Via Tor de Schiavi. In the heart of Centocelle, an old-style venue where you can breathe in art, music, and photography... two small rooms that are almost a museum... Fair prices (for Rome), very kind owners and waitresses. One of the aspects, besides the museum-like walls, was the extreme friendliness and availability. Italian music is certainly not my thing (only because I had a grandfather who was a tenor and music teacher and I already had my fill of the genre as a child...) but I must say that the VENUE's artistic direction has created an excellent product by offering quality karaoke with Sara, who is a real singer (not just an entertainer) and has a good vocal range. Congratulations also to the two singing performances by my friend Luca Rossetti 😎🍀 My rating for the pub? For work for more than a month in Rome....in this place I found a welcoming home that gave me moments of serenity after long and tiring days ..... Everything perfect ... environment .. food .... and most important of all the owners who make you feel pampered from the first moment. You must try the focaccia with the cutting board .... superlative .... but also the pizza ... and the pasta made like at home .... Marcello thanks for making me feel at home among the thousand spritz campari and the chats .... Trust me that once you try it .. this place remains in your heart !!!!

15/11/2025: There's much better in Rome. The staff is courteous and attentive to the customer's needs. But the food isn't up to par: the gricia tastes only of salt, the lamb isn't memorable, and the dessert is too cloying. I won't be returning.
14/11/2025: We tried the carbonara, saltimbocca, chicory, cherry tart and tiramisu. Everything tasted delicious and some items are harder to find elsewhere 😋

24/09/2025: I went to dinner with some colleagues and we had a truly enjoyable evening. The restaurant is elegant, well-attended, and yet welcoming, with an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The meat deserves special mention: superior-quality Fassona beef, with various cuts available, perfectly cooked, and exceptional flavor. Each of us chose a different dish, and we were all impressed by the quality and care taken in its preparation. The portions were generous, and the quality of the ingredients was evident from the first bite. The other dishes—from appetizers to side dishes—were also well-crafted, but it's the meat that truly shines. The wine list is also excellent, completing a high-quality experience without ever being pretentious. I didn't take any photos to attach: the elegance of the setting and the attentive service made me feel that it would have been almost inappropriate to interrupt dinner with my phone in hand. Sometimes it's better to enjoy the moment with colleagues and let it remain etched in memories rather than pictures. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation and will definitely return to: quality, professionalism, and taste at the highest levels.
22/09/2025: The food here is delicious, the place was almost full, we were lucky to be able to fit in.
