Today I stopped for a coffee and I have to compliment the guy who works at the bar, he is so kind that I have rarely found him. I will be back for lunch in the next few days.

Stopped in today for a coffee, completely frozen from our bike ride. The guy at the bar was incredibly kind; without us even asking, he offered us two cups of hot water to warm our hands. With a small gesture, he demonstrated great courtesy... thank you, and see you soon.

We stopped in after a motorcycle ride and had a snack with a homemade dessert, delicious!

A classic spot for motorcyclists at the top of the Penice Pass between Bobbio and Varzi.
The service is quick and friendly, and the food is excellent. I've been there several times, and the piadina with Varzi salami and cheese is excellent. I also recommend the polenta with wild boar. Generous portions. The only downside is the bathroom, which needs updating.

Whenever I stop by Penice for a bike ride with friends, this typical mountain bar is a must! It's a great place, with plenty of seating both inside and outside. Huge parking lot. I've always had a coppa sandwich...what can I say... Coppa Piacentina DOP, always top notch! I highly recommend it even for a snack. I don't know about the food, but if they have a coppa like that, the food will be just as good!

July 2025, we had breakfast at this beautiful place and then returned for lunch. Relaxed atmosphere, good cappuccino, and excellent first courses.
Young staff, quick and friendly. The view of the beautiful surroundings is worth it, as is a hike to the top of Mount Penice.
