We've been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed.
The dishes are refined yet simple, with quality seafood. Remarkable desserts, including homemade cassata and cannoli.
Award-winning pizza, unique doughs, unusual variations (deconstructed pizza, with a stuffed crust, etc.), and even artisanal ingredients. Highly digestible.
A very beautiful restaurant with a high, decorated ceiling and wooden beams, a pleasant and quiet atmosphere, carefully detailed furnishings, and a quiet atmosphere. The terrace has a few tables and overlooks the sea.
The owners and waiters are extremely courteous.

This place was a pleasant discovery; the place is cute both inside and out. We dined on the terrace, eating two separate pizzas.
This pizza is essentially a Margherita with all the toppings on the side, which you can choose whether to add or leave out, dividing them between each slice for an original and tasty culinary experience.
The pizza base with ricotta-filled crust is very good.
The Sicilian peach granita with cream is also excellent.
I recommend it!

Nice cute restaurant in traditional italian flavour. A hidden gem beside the street. Pizza Prosciutto was a banger.

Returning to Lo Scalo restaurant and pizzeria in Pieve Ligure is always a pleasure for many reasons, including the deliciousness of the dishes, all Sicilian specialties. My favorites? Arancino with eggplant parmigiana, the unparalleled swordfish rolls Messina-style, and the cassata. The wine list is also well-curated.
A family-friendly atmosphere, thanks in particular to Chef Andrea and his daughter Francesca.
The pizza section is also exquisite, featuring Matteo, a national award-winning pizza chef! I recommend the vertical pizza, one of their delicious "pizza rounds."
