What a discovery! A spotlessly clean place, an elegant yet casual atmosphere, traditional dishes, and reasonable prices. The quality of the dishes was superb, the service was fast, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The meat was top-notch! We'll definitely be back.

The restaurant is welcoming, as is the owner and the staff... about the food, I only have to laugh about the matriciana... bucatini cooked to perfection... the sauce seems like a normal sauce with the addition of crispy diced bacon... the recipe should be revised in my humble opinion... and the second course of tasty meat... but too much grilled meat becomes tough... this is my assessment of the set menu... as for the rest, it is yet to be discovered... I will definitely return... I'm curious!

We stopped in for lunch after reading the positive reviews. It was wonderful without the air conditioning. The daily menu was excellent. Bucatini alla matriciana, pork chop with sautéed chicory, and sausage and rigatino. Everything was excellent. The home-made flavors and quality of the food were top-notch. Highly recommended.

27/10/2025: Welcoming, clean place. Professional, helpful, and extremely kind staff. We had cacio e pepe and gnocco "La Botola," which were absolutely delicious. For our main course, grilled lamb and potatoes, quality meat and flavorful potatoes. The dessert was a unique cheesecake with Irish caramel and banana, a delight. Impeccable work. ❤️ Thank you.

La Taverna del Castello

10/10/2025: Good restaurant with original dishes and bold flavors. Excellent meat, fast service. Good wine selection. The restaurant is a bit hidden but very rustic.
06/10/2025: Perfect is an understatement. We ate wonderfully; everything was delicious and plentiful. The place is quiet and beautiful, both inside and out. The staff is friendly and courteous and very attentive to their customers. For what we ate, we got what we deserved. I recommend the cheese and porcini fondue. We'll definitely be back. Everything was perfect; we loved it.
