Locals-only experience in Enzo Ferrari park one breath away from Modena’s Centro Storico. We loved the vibe and the laid back ambience of this spot and the gnocco was outstanding! Like a cloud of happiness that melts in your mouth with delectable cold cuts, washed down with a good glass of Lambrusco. Doesn’t get more Modenese than that!

The fried gnocco is excellent, and there's a wide variety of cured meats. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The price is affordable and suitable for any occasion: family, friends... They also have a variety of desserts. I'll definitely be back.

We stopped by chance (and luckily) for lunch today: once you enter, a whole new world opens up to you!!! A kind gentleman welcomes you and leads you to your table, passing through the dining room, veranda, gazebo, and even the park, with tables arranged everywhere to accommodate every preference. The waiters are kind and friendly, and then he says: "GNOCCO!"!!! The undisputed star, accompanied by excellent quality cured meats, fresh and aged cheeses, lard... The four of us ordered: mixed cold cuts and cheeses, lard and parmesan, jams, three portions of fried gnocco, one portion of tigelle, two bottles of water, one can of soft drink, one coffee, and a limoncello for a total of €66. What are you waiting for? No, I mean...: "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?"

Bar-baracchina con un'eccellente potenziale riguardo lo gnocco fritto: moolto buono ,leggero e non unto. Parlando di tigelle, non capisco perchè le facciano con questo strano impasto, anzichè quello normale: no, non ci siamo.

ANTICA LOCANDA LA CANONICA

27/08/2025: We only had lunch at this inn but we had a really good time... we arrived around 2pm and were welcomed by a very kind lady who showed us to a table located on this almost marvelous veranda... the menu consisted of five first courses with all pasta made by them and 5 second courses of your choice... we ate very well in peace and serenity... we will definitely return.

08/04/2025: Excellent experience, good food and real Italian cuisine, to underline the friendliness of Angelica, a spunky girl who gave us very useful advice, the Dutch boy who I think is called Gil was also very nice
07/04/2025: I have been going to this pizzeria for years now. Small but welcoming place, very clean with very kind, friendly and nice owners 😊 the pizza is certainly very tasty, delicious and presents itself more than well, they also have gluten-free pizza with Aic certification which does not make the product lose any credibility when compared to normal pizzas. The ingredients they use are always fresh and good, at the counter there is also a small gastronomic corner with gluten-free products including arancini, with various flavours, which are absolutely worth trying. Personally, I had the opportunity to try both the normal and gluten-free bread, as my partner has celiac disease and both fully met expectations. Congratulations to the pizza chef Nicolino 💪 Super highly recommended and absolutely worth trying, your palate will thank you
