At Insolito in Crotone, every detail is captivating: wonderful tongs and fresh, flavorful dishes, impeccable and fast service, and attentive and courteous staff. The enchanting view completes a truly special experience, to be enjoyed with pleasure and tranquility.

A very nice place. The burger buns are made from pizza dough, so they were light and didn't overpower the burger. The meat was fresh and juicy, as were the toppings. The price is adequate to the quality, up to €15 per person. A combination of traditional flavors and modern flair. I 100% recommend it.

Cool restaurant, delicious cuisine

I was only there for breakfast. The staff was friendly and fast, and there was a wide variety of croissants, cakes, and other breakfast items. Good morning, I'm updating my review. I returned to this place in August 2021. We tried going for breakfast for three days in a row, and honestly, we didn't have a great time. The staff was always courteous but not very attentive, especially during this pandemic. I would have preferred better cleaning or better disinfecting the seating. At breakfast, they didn't give us a menu to choose from. The cappuccino and latte macchiato weren't hot, in fact! The whole-wheat croissant was awful. The honey and walnut braid was excellent, but the walnuts were literally charred! I found a chipped glass. I don't know, they apologized! I've noticed that it's very popular with those on shift. This is very unfortunate. I had given it 4 stars, but two years later, I've found much less pampering and offerings. I'm very disappointed because I know they put their heart and soul into it and have some excellent initiatives. Updated September 8, 2025 We returned to this place for lunch. I had a sliced ​​beef with porcini mushrooms, simply amazing, perfectly cooked to medium, tender. Congratulations! Sila potatoes with burrata cheese, a side dish to die for. My friend had a Large Poké; you can make it however you like, it's truly delicious. Congratulations for the delicious and well-prepared food, and also to the attentive, friendly, and professional waiters, especially Giancarlo. Thank you so much.

Too much chaos...totally disappointed with the sandwich toppings, as the dough was good, but having ordered the one with calamari, I never expected something like this. Totally rubbery and no calamari at all. Terrible service; among the various drinks, my husband's beer was brought to them practically after he had finished eating his sandwich, after we had reminded various waiters five times that the beer was missing. But the nicest one was a waitress who, annoyed, replied: "It will come!" In the meantime, she took three more orders, was in and out of the place, and didn't really care about bringing the beer. Too bad.

We went for dinner, there were two of us, but it wasn't a great experience because the place was packed and the waiters walked right past us several times without asking what we needed. Only later did they seat us. The wait was short, and the sandwiches were excellent, though a little heavy. The bathroom was spotless, and the price was reasonable for what we ordered. I'd go back again.

My family and I came here because of the large number of customers we could see from outside... I have to say, it didn't disappoint. So, we came back again this year. I had the chance to try both their PINSAGHIOTTO and their tagliata di carne (supposedly entrecote). Amazing. The meat literally melted in your mouth, and they cooked it perfectly rare. The bread for the pinsaghiotto was superb, and I liked the way the octopus was cooked (I've also tried it raw in the past). Yes, there were a few pieces of tentacle that were a little tougher than the others, but nothing unmanageable. And let's remember, this isn't a seafood restaurant ;) The waiters are very kind. Well done. We'll keep coming back! Oh! One last thing: fair prices and generous portions. I almost didn't finish the sandwich.

Both the service and the food were excellent, the place was highly recommended and the quality/price ratio of the food was nothing short of formidable.
