Excellent lunch in a central location with outdoor seating (though not many).
The piadina is typical of Ravenna, thicker than the Rimini version, and it's truly delicious.
Since I don't frequent the area, I don't know the average price, but we paid €7.50 for the piadina with prosciutto, squacquerone, and arugula, €6.50 for the one with just prosciutto and squacquerone, and €6 for the sweet piadina with squacquerone and caramelized figs.

The best piadina in Ravenna.
It has a very digestible dough and generous fillings. The staff is passionate about their work, and in fact, the heart of Romagna beats here. The girls explained to me with kindness and warmth the difference between crescione and piadina, and
they are always available.
You can't pass through Ravenna without stopping here. It's located on the corner between Dante's tomb and Piazza San Francesco, two of Ravenna's most evocative spots.

The location is perfect, as is the name, which hints at the mystery of all this deliciousness.
Delights to taste and devour at a price twice as high.
The staff is friendly and dedicated to their delicacies.

At Sunday lunchtime, they were slow to arrive, but there was a real crowd. Unfortunately, they forgot to add squaquerone cheese to one of the piadinas; we didn't ask for it because it had already been eaten. Personally, I prefer the flat, flaky Rimini piadina; this one is a little thicker and firmer, but still very good, and the ingredients are top-quality.

Davvero sensazionale. C’è la possibilità di scegliere tra tantissime piadine e crescioni, soprattutto salati. Anche tanti fiori menù. L’inferno buonissima.
