A lovely, unique atmosphere, a truly lovely bistro! The food was very good, though it's a shame that both the rabbit roll and mushroom tagliatelle were a bit cold, probably because the cold temperature didn't help much. The service was friendly and attentive. A first course, a second course, two glasses of wine, and two coffees totaled €70.

A true gem in the center of Varese. The restaurant offers seasonal dishes with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Service is fast and attentive. Highly recommended! The prices are well-suited to the type of experience offered.

This little restaurant tucked away in an alley in the center of Varese is truly a wonderful and unexpected discovery! The atmosphere is truly unique, featuring a small dining room (a sort of heated glass greenhouse) with a distinctive style and a few more tables in the outdoor areas, all enhanced by great personality and attention to detail. The menu is just the right amount of choice and manages to please everyone, with lake, meat, and vegetarian dishes. The prices are average and the portions are adequate, but what really impressed us was the service: respectful, attentive, present, and very professional. Congratulations, and see you next time!

Limbosco is a small restaurant located in an alley in the historic center of Varese. I had the opportunity to have lunch there after a trip to visit the city. We had lunch in an outdoor space resembling a greenhouse, decorated in an extremely original way, a mix of styles, objects, and furnishings that I personally adore, especially considering the fact that it's a great and intelligent way to give new life to objects and furniture that many would otherwise throw away. The presence of many plants makes it even more welcoming, so for this alone, I deserved the 5 stars! The menu consisted of a few daily specials (especially considering it was a weekday), but they were all captivating. The ingredients are carefully selected, and I was pleasantly surprised to be served salad dressings with a local Sicilian oil and a more commercial but still high-quality vinegar. Some dishes, like the stuffed onion, are created with originality, others are simpler, but all are excellent. The risotto with radicchio, taleggio, and walnuts was truly exquisite. The service is fast and attentive.

This was my second visit, and it once again proved to be an excellent place to enjoy a good dinner. The ambiance has a vintage feel, complete with artifacts recovered from "grandma's house." ☺️ The dishes showcase a search for something unique, and there are many vegetarian options. The wine list is excellent, with excellent suggestions for pairings. The main covered dining room seats about twenty people, and you can also eat outside. The only drawback now that the temperatures are dropping is that the restaurant is quite cold. Otherwise, everything else is fine. ☺️

The best place in Varese. Lovely atmosphere, super friendly service. The quality of the food and drinks is absolutely top-notch, and the menu is anything but ordinary. The lake carpione, a local specialty, is excellent, and the cod is a must-try. The drinks are excellent, too. Congratulations!

A truly alternative place, a charming chaos of years gone by, a mix of objects, tables, chairs, and many other items that give the room a sense of movement. The room is located inside a small enclosed greenhouse, but I also saw a furnished alleyway. The food is delicious, the mix of ingredients on the plate is truly unique... Like a beetroot risotto with salted ricotta and a dusting of coffee...
