07/10/2025: My wife and I went on Sunday. The weather was gloomy, windy, and threatening rain. The valley that looms before the restaurant is in full autumn. All this while enjoying the warmth of the stove inside the restaurant!!! Fabulous. The dishes are wonderful! Try them!!! Highly recommended!!!
14/09/2025: The Recanati G. Leopardi Rotary Club extends its warmest greetings and thanks to the friends of the Herbalist. Domenico, his daughters Ilaria and Francesca, and their entire family are an example of passion for these mountains. They endure hardship with what is most beautiful about them: their smiles, courtesy, efficiency, friendliness, and, of course, their excellent cuisine. Congratulations from all of us and thank you for a wonderful day.

24/09/2025: Mixed fried fish and two soups. Excellent.
22/08/2025: We waited 40 minutes for dinner—and the place was far from full—while the other diners around us started and finished their meals: apparently, pizzas take precedence over everything else in the kitchen. The chickpea soup wasn't bad, but it wasn't a soup, rather a dish of chickpeas in broth (also bland). The other first courses were neither good nor bad. Despite a seemingly delicious menu and an excellent local reputation (the osteria was highly recommended), the experience was rather disappointing. Oh, what a nice place.
