Saturday night dinner for two.
1 still water, 1 (three) corn-crusted rice supplì, 2 pizzas (1 Dark and 1 "Il Manzo si fa Ganzo" with burnt wheat dough) = €38.50.
Fair price for the quantity and quality of the ingredients.
Really good supplì with a lovely, delicate flavor.
Pizzas (excellent dough, rolled out with a medium-deep crust):
- Dark: unfortunately, completely ruined by the extra-dark chocolate chips, as they were replaced with simple chocolate chips used for cake toppings. So, not extra-dark, and they gave the pizza a sweetish flavor, which, being already topped with pumpkin, enhanced the sweetness so much that it gave me a stomach ache. Too bad.
- Il Manzo si fa Ganzo: chosen with burnt wheat flour. Excellent pizza, really good, perhaps too much caramelized onion. The burnt wheat dough was very good. Perfectly cooked.
Very small and uncomfortable place, with small and uncomfortable chairs.
Very slow service, and the decision to leave takeout available on a Saturday night was strange; we waited over an hour between the appetizer and the pizza.
Everything could be improved; perhaps I'll update the review next time, but definitely not on a Saturday and with lighter pizzas. Worth a try.

One of the best pizzerias in Foggia, if not the best!
Lievitante is a true guarantee for those who love pizza made with passion and the highest-quality ingredients. The pizzas are simply delicious, light, easy to digest, and with an authentic flavor that captivates you from the first bite.
A huge plus: the option to choose from various types of dough, all meticulously prepared. You're truly spoiled for choice, with classic, whole wheat, and more.
But the real surprise is the excellent gluten-free options: super-delicious gluten-free pizzas, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, every bit as good as traditional ones. Finally, a place where those with celiac disease or intolerances can enjoy a proper pizza, without compromise!
Friendly staff, welcoming place, and fast service.

Really good pizzas, I'd say one of the best pizzerias in Foggia. My wife, who is celiac, and I ordered a funghetto and a gluten-free Sole di Puglia pizza. The gluten-free one was spectacular, just like a regular pizza!
The appetizers were a bit disappointing; the savory mini babas are overpriced considering their size and ingredients, the rice supplì are lacking in flavor, the blueberry rice is quite bland, and we didn't find the sweet/savory contrast we were hoping for.
Overall, the quality is excellent, but the prices are a bit high (2 appetizers, 2 pizzas, 1 Coke, and 1 beer for €64).

I've dined at this pizzeria twice and ordered takeout once.
The best pizzas I've ever eaten. I was surprised by the vegan option, which isn't a given, especially the tofu, which was much appreciated! 🥰
I'm also looking forward to the vegan mozzarella in the future!

Fabulous pizza, with so many different bases. We also had the arancini, which were very delicate and unique. The Caprese, their way: the individual ingredients were very good, although for me—and I'm not criticizing, speaking purely from my own personal taste—they didn't quite come together perfectly. But it was all truly delicious. Save room for the desserts, too: sensational. This is our second time back, and we've always found the same quality. Top!
