Lido Sammy In Barano d'ischia

We were looking for a local panini on the beach and found it at Samy's. It was rich with mozzarella, tomato, ham, arugula, and parmesan, and it was divine.

We were looking for a simple, welcoming place, without frills, and with a genuine atmosphere, and we found Lido Sammy. The lido is located on the splendid Maronti beach, just steps from the Cavascura thermal baths. The sea is clear, the sand warm, and the setting relaxing. Its strong point is the family atmosphere. Here, you truly feel welcomed and at home. The staff is made up of attentive, kind, and approachable young people, led by an owner who treats them like children and instills in them the true meaning of the word "work." All this is reflected in the service, always courteous and discreet. The restaurant is a delightful discovery: excellent first courses, fresh fish, and exquisite fried foods, light and well-prepared. No gourmet pretensions, but genuine, flavorful cuisine that reflects the location. The clientele is informal, like the atmosphere. We often stopped to chat with Sammy: he has had interesting travels under his belt and recounts them with infectious passion. On an island that sometimes gets lost in fashion and appearances, Lido Sammy remains a wonderfully authentic place for us.

At Lido Sammy on Maronti Beach, we found a warm welcome, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. A quiet beach where you can spend a relaxing day surrounded by a charming bay. The restaurant offers a good selection of traditional dishes (the tomato bruschetta was phenomenal).

I often go to this beach, where I find kind and friendly staff, fresh and good quality products, fresh fish cooked in a simple and careful way. I recommend it to all those who decide to go to the Maronti beach.

Super friendly service! The beach and loungers were also great. At €10/day for two people, you can't complain :) The drinks were unfortunately terrible... they could have been used to disinfect wounds. Otherwise, great

Incredible amazing and fresh! The staff are friendly and kind. Although I only stopped for a bit, I stayed for awhile. Come and see Lucia for the primo service!!! ♥️🙏
