The lido promises to have the most beautiful beach in Metaponto...and it doesn't lie: the stay was comfortable, the sea we found exceptional, the bar adequately stocked (we didn't try the small attached restaurant). The shuttle service from the parking lot, about 1 km away, is very convenient, with frequent round-trips, and Antonio is very friendly. It's a shame that every extra service costs extra, from the simple foot bath (€0.10), but it's a small flaw in the overall service.

Unfortunately, no one at the beach bar speaks English, so for someone who is not Italian it is very difficult to communicate. The food and drinks they have are ok. The beach is beautiful! Free parking and free van transportation to the beach.

Definitely a nice place, the shuttle from the parking lot to the beach is convenient, the food was good (20 euros for lobster linguine), the beach was a bit expensive for the standard of the place (38 euros for two loungers and an umbrella in the second row). The 1 euro for a shower was excessive. Okay, it helps with waste, but 50 cents was the right price. The sore point is the owner, Mario, who is grumpy, arrogant, and rude. In the end, we said goodbye and he didn't even bother to reply. I might be exaggerating, but I won't be back. I can't stand arrogant people. Meh! Sister Rosa is kind.

Fantastic location...still pristine, Caribbean sea...sunny and welcoming staff always ready to pamper and fulfill customers' wishes/requests...Mario, Rosa, Pasquale and the various collaborators are a family...amazing!! Lido Marinella...distinctive features: beautiful!!!! By the way, I forgot!!! The food is divine!!!
