Lido California In Castel volturno

Very well-maintained beach resort with courteous and helpful lifeguards, prompt beach bar service, and market-level prices. The only negative is the restaurant: a limited menu, inadequate food given the location, and exorbitant prices. Otherwise, nothing to complain about; I'm a customer and will remain so. I'm editing my review; I returned after a year-long hiatus and found a better atmosphere, consistently top-notch service, and the express menu is truly excellent; the salads, rice salads, and fruit salads are very fresh and tasty. If I really have to find a negative, it's the hot shower in the bathrooms that has been removed. Otherwise, 🔝

Dinner with friends. A lovely beach bar with a good variety of choices on the menu. The waitress who served us was kind and friendly. It's a shame we went on a night when, despite not being crowded, the music was too loud, making it difficult to chat at the table. But overall, it was a pleasant dinner.

We walked in with our golden retriever and she was immediately welcomed with a cold bowl of water. My maple pancakes were fluffy perfection!!! And I'm an American Texan, southern girl. I know pancakes. They were perfect! My hubby's meatballs were also possibly the best meatballs he's ever had. Just awesome!!! And the mojitos were killer too. Throw in the Bee Gees and Barry White music- could NOT have been better!!! Awesome!!!

Suitable for an aperitif at sunset. As for going to the beach, I think it is suitable from Monday to Thursday... to avoid crowds.

Nice beach, but not recommended for families

The beach is well kept, little space between one umbrella and another, not to mention the sunbeds, it's crazy now

Lido California presents itself as a modern and well-kept structure, with contemporary style environments that pleasantly strike at first impact. The catering is definitely one of its strong points: we enjoyed excellent toasts accompanied by chicken croquettes and fresh potatoes, really well prepared. However, the overall experience had some negative aspects. Parking is a significant problem: practically non-existent near the Lido, forcing visitors to leave their cars quite far away. Fortunately, there is a shuttle that runs back and forth, but it is still an inconvenience, especially on days of great affluence. We were there on June 2nd and the structure was really very crowded, to the point that the bathrooms were dirty, probably due to the high number of people. This makes the experience a little less pleasant. We imagine that on weekdays the situation is much calmer and more liveable. The staff proved to be attentive, even if, due to the confusion, at times they seemed a little distracted. We also noticed a nice restaurant inside that could be worth a visit on a future occasion. Lido California is a nice location, modern and with good food, but to avoid on holidays if you are looking for relaxation. During the week, it probably makes much more.

Cibo ottimo servizio altrettanto... Ci ritornerò volentieri. Ho ordinato una portata fuori menù : spigola all'acqua pazza veramente eccellente... Consiglio.
