I celebrated my son's 18th birthday with a buffet for 50-55 people. Everything was delicious, from the filled croissants to the pizza, focaccia, and savoury panettone. The top cake, a fruit tart with cream, was delicious. Two years earlier, they had celebrated my daughter's confirmation with the same buffet, but with a classic sponge cake with cream, which was also delicious. What can I say? I highly recommend this pastry shop; they guarantee both quality and prices. If you want to celebrate in style, this is the place to be.

I bought the buffet for 80.85 people for my son's birthday. They really have everything and the buffet is very generous. If you want to make a great impression and be sure of quality, they have everything: a very good cake and fantastic snacks and pizzas. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent. I will definitely be back if I have to celebrate another event with them.

The fruit tart for my birthday was excellent. Delicious cream and excellent fresh fruit. Must try! The service was also excellent (it was delivered to my workplace at the agreed time!)

I went to my nephew's baptism yesterday, and all the refreshments were made by this pastry shop that I didn't know. The savory food was really good: the tuna brioches, for example, were super stuffed and not just a little like elsewhere. The pastries and the cake (a custard and fruit tart) were the best I've tried in recent times: very fresh, with lots of cream, with a shortcrust pastry made to perfection. Enough, from now on this has become my pastry shop. Never mind if I have to go a bit further to get there.

Hotel Villa Borghi

23/08/2025: Nice, quiet and authentic hotel in an amazingly green area with a small but nice pool away from the building. Old style and with lots of personality, a library to chill in, a garden to wander, and if you don't mind squeaky floorboards in the old villa, this is the dream. Staff were reserved but friendly, we felt right at home, and the staff gave guests space to just be. Fantastic associated restaurants (both La Scuderia and O'Lac), even though the breakfast was a bit plain. The coffee at the breakfast buffet was well made, and the staff were friendly. The town was lovely, and early morning walks around the lake were wonderful. Underground parking was spacious and easy to access. Traintracks run relatively close by, but the trains are so sparse that it didn't ruin the experience. We had a wonderful time at Villa Borghi and will return. It feels a bit like a hidden gem that I hope not too many people find and ruin this place, but I wish the staff and owners all the best.
