17/06/2025: Superb culinary experience in the heart of Palermo – "Il Pipino Rosso"
A dinner at Pipino Rosso is not just a meal: it is a sensory journey that tells the story of Sicily through deep and authentic flavors. From the appetizer, the mussel soup conquers the palate: fragrant, intense, balanced between sea and land, so good that mopping up the sauce is a must.
The main course? A masterpiece. The green gold spaghetti with clams and prawns is a symphony of the sea: the sauce, creamy and enveloping, binds the pasta perfectly without covering the freshness of the shellfish. The finish, finger-licking good.
Next, an impeccable fried seafood: crispy calamari rings, golden caps, juicy prawns and delicious octopus renfe fried to perfection. No grease, just crunchiness and marine flavor in every bite. A dish that leaves you speechless… and almost breathless from how good it is.
The location is a mix of style and warmth: books scattered here and there, stairs that intertwine in a welcoming environment, with vintage touches and mirrors that multiply the light and space. There is an intimate but never banal atmosphere, ideal for a relaxed dinner or a special moment. For those who want it, there is also a welcoming and bright terrace for eating outside.
The service deserves an honorable mention: impeccable waiters, kind and with a prodigious memory. There is no need to repeat anything: every desire is welcomed with attention and professionalism.
