It's been a long time since I've eaten at a place like this. I dreamed about it at night.
In Piedmont, many years ago, there were incredible piole. This place is like that.
Tonight, mushrooms, mushrooms, mushrooms. Infinitely delicious. My grandfather's mushrooms. Mushrooms picked in the mountains. Great fried dishes.
An incredible dinner here. If it weren't millions of miles away, I'd be here every night.
Hold on. You are the history of our country. The best part.

We were really looking forward to this evening at Letizia's. We discovered the restaurant through the Slow Food Guide and social media. I'll start with the service. The young lady was friendly, quick-witted, and could even converse in English. Nothing to complain about there.
The ambiance wasn't particularly nice. A real shame. The place had so much potential, especially outside. Remove the plastic tableware. Nice wooden tables and chairs. A bit of color. A few flowers and herbs. Some nice lighting, candlelight.
The food. Difficult. On the one hand, really good. Great ideas for combining and presenting certain ingredients. The mushroom fondue was really great. But an almost 4cm thick slice of rather hard bread with it was a challenge. The curguliones (homemade, or bought?) actually had the same sauce as the mushroom fondue. Then the secondis... Venison on the table. A handful of pieces of meat with sauce. That's it. Half of it was pure fat. Seriously!!?? The wild boar. A handful of gristle with fat and incredibly tough skin, with a few bits of meat tangled in. Seriously!!?? Everything tasted fine. But sensorially, it was inedible for me. We stopped dinner at this point. We were quite disappointed. We didn't have to pay for the wild boar. Thank you for this gesture. Maybe the chef was just having a bad day.

Lele is fantastic, along with his staff: kind, smiling, in short, super!
We ate very well, it's a shame it wasn't mushroom season, otherwise I would have gorged myself (famous for mushrooms).
I highly recommend it.

On the recommendation of a dear friend, we went to Ristorante Letizia.
We returned several times to satisfy our curiosity about the dishes on the menu.
I really appreciated the authenticity and quality of what was served.
A Sardinian millefeuille that will not be forgotten!

Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior; this is a very friendly restaurant with a beautiful pergola and fountain. Excellent Sardinian cuisine, and a very welcoming owner who speaks French. I highly recommend it.

Craving truly authentic, flavorful, and delicious food?
The restaurant is a trattoria, with outdoor seating in the garden, and a truly enjoyable atmosphere. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming. Emanuele is a chef, and his skill and experience shine through in the food. We've been several times and will definitely be back.
