Excellent Roman pizza; I had a delicious supplì al telefono and a superb Margherita pizza.
All washed down with a good Weiss beer, although I would have preferred an unfiltered beer, which unfortunately isn't on the menu.
The service was also very satisfactory despite the place being packed. Well done, guys!

After discovering it as one of the restaurants in Parco Appio, yesterday we finally went to try L'Elementare in its independent location. The atmosphere is obviously different: more intimate, more refined, with a strong identity that's reflected in the menu, which remains informal and welcoming. We started with the Supplì ar telefono, a great classic executed to perfection: crispy, stringy, flavorful, with the comfort that only a well-made supplì can provide. Next came the Spaghetto Ajo e Ojo, a fried reinterpretation of the famous Roman dish: a kind of supplì that encloses garlic, oil, and chili pepper in a surprising and aromatic heart. An original and well-executed idea that plays with tradition without distorting it. Between a chat and a sip of beer, we also indulged in the homemade potato chips, seasoned with pink pepper and lime. Crispy, fragrant, with a perfect balance between the citrus note and the delicate spiciness. A simple yet refined accompaniment, demonstrating attention to detail. The pizzas were the real highlight of the evening. Thin crust, crispy to the bite, well-cooked, and with toppings designed to enhance each ingredient. It's no coincidence that L'Elementare is considered one of Rome's best pizzerias for its crispy round pizza: here, tradition meets creativity, and the result is a pizza that will stay with you forever. The Puttanesca is a Mediterranean explosion, balanced and intense, with a layering of flavors that chase each other without ever overlapping. The Pizza of the Month immediately intrigued me with its composition: cream of new potatoes, friggitelli peppers, creamed cod, marinara oil, and cruschi peppers. The concept behind the ingredients was clear and well-thought out, a play on contrasts between sweetness, saltiness, and crunchiness. However, the cod was too salty in my opinion: it deserved a further desalinization phase, as it tended to overpower the other ingredients and, when tasted alone, was too intense. L'Elementare reinterprets Roman tradition with intelligence, flavor, and a touch of originality that never goes out of style. It's one of those places you'll want to return to, not just for the good food, but to feel at home: a welcoming atmosphere, informal service, and a menu that surprises without overdoing it. While pizza is the heart of the place, the soul lies in the concept behind it: simple, straightforward, but never banal. And every time you return, you feel like there's still something new to discover.

The perfect Roman pizza: thin, crispy, tasty yet light, topped to perfection with top-quality ingredients. To go back to regular pizzas, I'm going to undergo a significant psychological process.

Excellent pizzeria for those who love authentic Roman pizza, thin and super crunchy. The dough is light and crispy, topped with fresh, quality ingredients. The menu is varied, with both classic and original dishes. The restaurant is simple yet elegant, perfect for a casual dinner. Friendly staff and fast service, even at peak times. Excellent value for money. A perfect choice for a simple, good meal. I'll be back!

Pizzeria delicacies? Yes, we found them! A pizza with the classic Roman shape, shallow and crispy... if you choose the right ingredients, even gourmet pizzas won't disappoint everyone. We'll definitely come back and try the ricotta and sour cherry supplì. The staff is polite and attentive to the needs of the customers. The place needs a fresh coat of paint to make it cleaner.

The specialty pizzas are delicious. The pizza is generally thin and well-seasoned. Try the garlic, oil, and chili pepper supplì!
